I bet he'll be over 100 by the break. But yes, agreed.

ERA < 2.00

Throwing some meatballs over the plate tonight, won't last long.

That's what happens to the dude. I was honestly expecting him to finish out the shutout tonight.

Nice where did you get it? I picked up one off COMC on June 1st but haven't shipped it yet.

Old Max vs New Max today! Hope to see a pitchers duel.

Much better August for Folty. Pitching well lately.

A win tonight would make him 4-0, 26.2 IP, 1.35 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 27 K in August.

Those are some nice numbers. Glad he was able to go 7 tonight. His pitch counts have been the only thing holding him back IMO. A total of 113 in 7 innings tonight.

I think Mike Foltynewicz has a reasonable chance to be the next Scherzer. He seems to be getting slightly better each year. He has a plus fastball and very good slider (not Scherzer good but still good), his control is improving, and he throws harder as the game goes on, occasionally touching 99-100 late in the game.

Scherzer's first notable season was 2012, when he was 27-28 years old. I could see Folty's career taking a similar track.

That's all. Cool story bro, etc.
~15 months in the books.

2017: 10-13, 154 IP, 4.79 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 143 K

2018: 13-10, 183 IP, 2.85 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 202 K

I'd say that's a step in the right direction.

Yep, drafted him very late for my fantasy team. Very pleased with his efforts this season. Hopefully he can continue his success, Nats will need him more then ever.
