Who is the X-Men character?

Hi blowoutcards members I bought a 2018 fleer ultra xmen. I got a sketch card I don’t know who the X-Men character is any help would appreciate. Thanks vpsleafs.

No offense to people who collect sketches or their artists, but if you cannot tell who they are suppose to be (and it being a portrait), wouldn't that be considered bad art?

I have seen sketches for baseball and the portrait does not look like the player at all, sometimes even the wrong skin color, etc.

I honestly am curious being that I'm not in the realm of sketch collecting!?

That sketch is probably Thunderbird aka John Proudstar.

Having said that, there was a brother James Proudstar who was also known as Warpath, so could be either. But since it came out of an X-men set, my money is on Thunderbird.

Well, it might be bad art if you can't figure out the character because it doesn't look enough like the character. But there are hundreds or even thousands of comic characters, and most people only know the top 10 or 20 of them. So no surprise that someone doesn't recognize this particular character since he isn't drawn often on sketch cards.
