Breaks are starting to appear from China. A Barkley is already out, looks to be the same maybe 3-4 spot sigs per case

Top middle is my favorite, then the arms in the air.

Yep i like the top middle for Philly, the arms raised for Suns and Bottom middle for Rockets (if im choosing a fav for each team). I reckon they could of did a better job at centering the player a bit more though. The top middle looks a bit high and the same with Giannis

And once again there are many cards that I would buy - if not for that horrible, fat, streaky gold pen. Just ruins otherwise beautiful cards.

Second, Noir is black, not white (again). Advantage: Noir

Finally, Charles Barkely has brought a good amount of hype leading up to this product and most reactions have been positive. This is the most optimistic Blowout reaction to a Buzz Report I've seen. Immaculate has NBA exhibition games to get people pumped. Advantage: Noir

Well I guess I forgot FOTL. NOIR has none. Immaculate = probably? Advantage: Immaculate

Basically I'm saying I think Noir will be a bigger hit than Immaculate this year. I guess the rankings are always up for debate.

Oh I definitely agree for this year, hands down Noir > Immac for multiple reasons. By the time Immac is released, most people will be on to 18/19. I was just saying from a RPA product perspective, I think it will be a while before Noir closes the gap, if ever. Those spotlight sigs though...

Could be worse...could be Mitchell. Im guessing his 541 autos in Noir will be redemptions as well taking his tally of unsigned cards to approx 2700. Good to see Tatum sign some Opulence though

When will Panini know to use fine tip gold pen? Are the current ones used being Sharpie's?

I've never seen the appeal of those Spotlight cards. The Gold Pen ruins it and the design is too constricting. I think it'd work better without the border and less text. The Barkley ones look pretty sweet though.

I think the problem with the pens is although Panini are well aware that they suck for signing in the beginning they probably bought up 1000's of them so they may as well use them all up first....haha.

Frugality at its finest...

They were available on Panini’s store site for $500 for 4 minutes.

Is it just me or don't y'all think the spotlights deserve to be much rarer? I mean /125? Come on! In soccer they are //25 which I think is perfect for a set that does not have parallels with shorter prints. I feel like the high numbering contributes to them being less desirable to some.

None the less, they are still some of the nicest modern auto's products and I will be happy to snag an Irving

edit: was really hoping Kemba would have had one this year...

Yeah, I think they were /25 the first year (at least the Kobe was). They probably bumped up the production after seeing how popular they became. /49 is probably the sweet spot.

yeah Vintage Art and Spotlight Sigs are some of the nicest-looking sets this year. I'm ok with the SS being /125 too. There's no parallels and no FOTL so it's actually pretty limited - but also kinda accessible/affordable.
