People will still come to Camden if they are honestly trying to improve the team. The status quo has been a complete failure.
Yeah I think basically everyone wants this team to move forward at this point. As long as there is a plan, I can tolerate a few years of them sucking. The 14 years of futility are still fresh in everyone's minds. They desperately need to bring in a GM, give them a budget, and then let them do what they want without ridiculous amounts of interference.

Also need to start actually using their international signing pool money. It drives me insane that they waste it every year. Supposedly Lou and John Angelos are more "forward thinking" than Peter, but we'll see. Who knows.

No. I read Jones invests in real estate so probably just got it to flip later on.

The property didn't sell at all the first time and went to a no minimum auction because it needs so much work done and the location is horrible. I hope you're kidding.

I'm going to be traveling to the Baltimore area on June 3rd and would like to attend the afternoon game against the Yankees. Last time I tried to see a baseball game, my travel got delayed and I missed the game. This time around, I don't want to buy the tickets ahead of time. Will I be likely to get tickets at the door for this game, or is it likely to sell out?

I would be more surprised if someone didnt hand you free tickets to get rid of them, than it being a sell out. You can get decent seats on stubhub for most games for like $5

Don't fret if you can't find any on here. Good seats are still available in perpetuity.

Schoop to the Brewers is close. I wish Adam Jones didn’t screw us, lost respect for him.

Touche!

Maybe the Orioles is going the Marlins way when the previous ownership traded away and sold the team to the Jeter ownership...

I don't think the O's would have received much in return for Jones. I isn't a top tier CF anymore and corner guys are probably a dime a dozen. I just hope he moves to RF in order to make way for Mullins. I hate seeing 29-31 year olds who won't be part of the long term plan still playing.

I hate this team right now

The Schoop and Gausman trades were a complete joke. They got absolutely hosed. I hope I end up being wrong, but ZERO top 100 prospects for them plus a Darren O'Day throw in is an absolute embarrassment.

Tough week for PCs for sure!
Good luck my friends.

This belongs to a buddy of mine (edved here on BO), he's just seeing what offers he gets.

I don't think I'll be buying anymore Schoop cards. Or Manny cards. I don't even know what cards I would want anymore. It's a very depressing time.

Yeah, they would've gotten more without including him. It was just a stupid way to dump salary.

Comparing to the Chris Archer trade, the Gausman deal was like made by a 3 years old.

So now we have gotten rid of all of our value, and received a big bag of scraps in return. Yay Os. Just when you think the team couldn't get any worse, they find a way.

Shocked they traded Schoop. He's the real deal.

I'm happy Adam Jones didn't get traded. They should try and sign him for a few more years. I keep hearing about how his defensive metrics are bad but I watch a lot of Orioles games and all he does is make every play. What am I missing?

His range sucks. That said, unless he takes a steep discount he won't be back. 18 million for a slowing aging centerfielder

He's not going to get $18 million a year from anyone. He ought to take a steep discount and keep doing what he's doing in the Baltimore community.

Jones is a $5M one year deal for someone next year.

Trading Schoop means they don't seem themselves as relevant for 4-5 years.

Sad times for the O's.
