Reminder to everyone that the trade deadline is noon (eastern) on August 18th. All trades must be accepted on ESPN by that point

The trade deadline is still over 3 weeks away, but I am still looking to discuss trades. Here are some guys I am actively looking to trade.

- Charlie Morton (averaging 18.8 points per start this season)
- Miles Mikolas (16.4 points per start)
- Jose Quintana (11.2 points per start, but is pitching much better recently)
- Travis Shaw (3.1 points per game)
- Justin Smoak (2.9 points per game)
- Josh Donaldson (been injured for a majority of the year, but is still an impact bat)
- Daniel Murphy (same as Donaldson)
- Zach Britton (will almost certainly be traded to a contending team soon)

As always, feel free to send me a DM or an offer on ESPN.

Yikes, my team clearly blew it's load last week...

Like that .298 batting average!

Tex and I just agreed on a deal.

I receive: Dylan Cease, Triston McKenzie, and Yusniel Diaz.

Tex receives: Charlie Morton and Kyle Wright.

Hollywood, if possible, please swap Wright from my minor league team to Tex's, and add all 3 guys I'm getting back to my minor league team. Also manually switch Morton from my team to Tex's on ESPN. Thank you.

Go ahead and propose Morton for nobody through the league. That way the trade can pass through vetos and whatnot (it won't be vetoed, but we'll make it go through that just so keep it kosher)

Man it sucks to give up McKenzie but Morton has been dominant, a strikeout machine and on a really good team to rack up W's. Had to get another good arm to try to take the championship this year.

I love what I've done with my team since I started to trade off some pieces. My team was aging and getting more mediocre by the year before I started this quasi rebuild phase. As of now, I've traded two significant pieces (Stanton and Morton) for five highly thought of prospects (Jimenez, Senzel, Cease, McKenzie, Diaz) while still keeping Kershaw and Sale at the top of my rotation. I've gotten younger and more talented in just two trades. Still looking to make more!

Some pics from the Angels vs. White Sox game on Wednesday. Saw Trout, Ohtani, and Pujols go deep and it was a great game (Trout hit a HR during that at bat btw.)

I think we might have to replace Awz this offseason. He's just not active. The last time he's set his lineups was over a month ago, and it was another month before that when he modified it before then

SAF has also had gaps as long as a month where he wasn't setting his lineups either. I know he tends to have a different strategy, but it feels like he hasn't taken any steps to try to improve his team this year. He's only made a handful of FA add this year and only 1 trade that came way back in February

Looking at the transaction log, SAF looks fine to me. He just might not want to make any trades and see if he can ride out his prospects, though looks like he's still setting his lineups which is good. On the other hand, Awz definitely looks inactive.

SAF's borderline to me. I understand his team is 75% prospects so there's not much more to do than just wait. And I know he has a different strategy than most of us, but some of the guys he has just simply shouldn't be owned... His lack of posting privileges are out of his control, but that's another complicating factor. It'd be one thing if he was active in the chat in ESPN or somewhere so at least we know he's still involved

My season just officially ended today. I had a chance to sneak in, but I needed to run the table. Couldn't even beat AWZ this week and I was trying....

On to 2019
