Thx for your kind of words. Yeah this is why I appreciate Blowout so much. Lots of committed collectors who always share their ideas/experience to help others out. Luckily already got that card 2 times in my collection. One card is off centered, the other one has backside colour bleeding. With the fake one I just wanted to fill the gap

This is part poverty and part accomplishment. I have been looking for this card now for well over a year. I am not sure how rare this card actually is but I hardly ever see it on eBay. I was extremely lucky I found it this time because as soon as I logged onto eBay there were only ten minutes left in the auction. I decided to put a pretty good bid on it thinking it would go for more than it did and I won it for $10.73. The card is a Michael Jordan 07-08 Upper Deck Electric Court insert. It goes well next to the 08-09 version I have owned for a while now.

For sure. Always a good feeling to have the real thing though, even there are minor things here and there.

They look great side by side. Very happy to read you got it for a fair price too, critical timing, but you were there at the right place/time. Congratulations on getting this one in your collection!

Here's one I got in somewhat recently. Probably my favorite international issues, these Japanese cards are really cool on the back. This one came to me direct from Japan too, really neat.

Wow, these are like those 92/93 Beam Team cards on steroids. Did they only do these with the base card variants? I'm asking because Kemp has an All-Stars insert, and I'd love to grab one if there is a parallel that looks like this.

These are a bit late, but I picked this guy up for just over 20 bucks to complete the rainbows, both base, both Raves and the one Super Rave.



Slacked on picking this cheap parallel up for a while because I wasn't a huge fan of the photo on the front, but I think I got this one for 99 cents, or something low like that and that's another finished rainbow.

Abra for MVP. Most viewed thread in the basketball forum and second thread with the most replies. This thread, in my honest opinion, is a great read and just a great boost for low end collectors like me. Probably one of the best threads (along with the27guy) in existence. I'm not certain but I think they only did the Velocity parallels for the base set. There are Black Velocity /39 and then also Blue Velocity which isn't serial numbered and also Pink Velocity /79. The Black Velocity look the best IMO, but the Blue also looks good with the Pacers colors.

I got a few poverty level things in the past few days. The Reggie was the most expensive one, clocking in at $26 dlvd. Couldn't believe how cheap I got the Myles Turner and Yogi Ferrell. They came from the same seller so that was even more awesome since they offered combined shipping. Paid a total of $19 dlvd for the pair.

As usual, some of Panini's best offerings land themselves in your collection. It's a bummer that the inserts don't get the Velocity treatment, but I guess the one upside to that is less cards to chase down. Love the Miller too and also those Impeccable cards are superb, again, unfortunately Kemp is left out to my knowledge, they left him out of Noir too which I kinda' like as well.

There are quite a few cards featuring Kemp in the 97/98 releases with the ABA ball, including Flair Showcase and Collector's Choice...even an 8x10 UDA autograph known as the "Flashback" autograph. Fun fact, the photo used for the UDA 8x10 auto is the same one used on Kemp's 97/98 Showcase Row 0.

Thanks bro, I slacked on getting it for such a long time, it's great to close the rainbow up. It's funny, because that's one of several instances where I had the rarest card for a while and never had some of the easier to find ones. I slacked on getting the Rave from series 1 too, but I got the hookup from Rob23 on here who gave me an awesome (poverty thread approved) price on it a while back.

You should definitely post in here more often. Some juicy patches there and really nice and shiny stuff. As stated already, I have a liking for Noir, especially their acetate stuff, but I also love landscape orientation cards. Spectra looks good, great contrast between the Wolves colors and the card itself and finally the Crown Royale's etching is outstanding. Those are thicker cards too, if I remember correctly so that's another plus...would be awesome if they did those in landscape too, I think that's how they did it with football and they're amazing.

Your scan of that Blue Velocity looks better than what I held in person, lol. The Black Velocity above looks amazing!

Normally Office Lens makes stuff like this look way better than my scanner but in the case of the Velocity prizms the scanner blows Office Lens away.


Got this in today. Been holding out for one at what I think is a fair price. Paid $6.50 dlvd for it. Pretty much right on par with what I've paid for the Leaf and Sumner. Glad to finally have all 3 of the Pacers rookies from this set. I think it's a pretty underrated set personally. On-card autos, /99 with no parallels and a pretty sweet design.

the jersey card is /99, some of that new Spectra stuff that just looks too cool to pass up. The auto is /25. And honestly? NO idea why anyone graded that Mitch Scoring Power card, but it's gem mint, and I got it and a Mitch RC in BGS 9 for less than it would cost just to grade one card, so I really couldn't pass it up!

Sick Paytons.

Sick Mitches, partcularly the Scoring Power and that Immaculate Auto.

Sick National Treasures Young triple threat, your images make those cards look like museum pieces. That subtle rainbow coloring being picked up in just the right amounts causes each card to stand out even more on its own.




I don't think I ever shared this one either, it was a cheap pickup, don't remember how much but well under 10 bucks.

Recently brought this monster into the collection as well:



No discoloration: CHECK
Decent centering: CHECK
Protective coating intact: CHECK

I understand they're not so heavily desired these days, but (for me) a lot of the 94/95 FINEST stuff is comparable to what most people regard the PMG cards to be today. Back in those years if you pulled one of these you were over the moon, especially if it was one of, if not THE hottest rookie at the time. I have a few more of these that I brought in a while back, I don't think I ever had a chance to share them, but will try to scan them in later too.

It's just a shame that so many of these cards, especially out of the base set are discolored or I probably would have endeavored to finish the master set and chase as many duplicate cards as I could, especially refractors.

...Now if I could just find a non discolored, coating intact, well priced Kidd...
