Post McDonald all American auto Value

For the longest time I’ve wanted to buy a Durant rookie auto but I don’t want to spend more than $300. I was thinking that the 2006 McDonald all American auto might be a good option considering it is way before his other rookie autos and he’s not in a Sonics jersey which no one really remembers him for. Do you think these cards hold value and is this a fair assessment.

I like the McDonald’s Autos but I don’t think they will hold value any greater than his 2007 autos. I think they will run pretty parallel value wise to his 2007 cards. Last I checked though those McD autos are gonna run way more than $300.

Yeah I saw one sold for 4 something so I am willing to spend a bit more, so you have any idea what a good Durant rookie auto would be at that price point. I’ve been looking at premiere and rookie threads. To me thy looked like the best at that price point but I could be wrong

Weren’t those signed at the game, but Topps unable to verify the signatures? They feature some very early autos of players, many don’t look familiar....but were legit.

If they aren’t certified autos I don’t think I would buy them

As I said previously, I have always liked the McDonald's Autos from a historical and aesthetic standpoint. I don't know much about what will be good from an investment standpoint, but I prefer on card autos. When I searched, I thought these looked good in your price range:

This one kind of reminds me of the Next Day Autos.

I am not sure if the Threads Auto you referred to was the one with Jeff Green as a dual auto. I am not a fan of dual autos where one player is great and the other is pretty bad. Here is a nice looking dual auto that I am surprised falls in your budget too. LMA is not my favorite player but at least he is an all star to pair as the dual auto.

I really liked KD back in the days when he was a Sonic more than he was a Thunder or Warriors....
