So got an offer on my RTOD 2017 Mike Trout...$40…with the additional commitment that book value is $15-$20…I told them to buy it from the books author. What book is he talking about...Beckett actually putting values on these? If so Dr. Beckett has lost his mind. 80 PR card of Mike Trout? You’re not even close with $40, I’ll bury them with me at that price!

But yet they are not able to come up with a price for a Mike Trout with a PR of over 2300 (#456 2017). As a paying customer to the on line version of Beckett I have been very frustrated with how they (mis)handle Topps Now pricing.

The guy declined my counter and said he would buy it when my price came down to what The book said...with 85 Total Printed good luck getting it for $40 from anyone...ever. I’d like to see how they come up with their prices...I get they are the experts, but I’m not selling at that and I think anyone who does is insane. I also dislike someone telling me it’s only worth x amount because of their book...like I have to sell it to them and my price is too high. It’s called a guide! $15-$40...what a joke.

Well the ball cards were kind of random weren’t they? Kind of hard to preorder something like that unannounced. Otherwise I’d take you up on that offer for astros stuff if i know I’m not available to get it myself!

Yeah that was out of no where. It would have been too unfair if they told us for that. But just a general statement. Not something I expect to be taken up on much.

I just scrolled through 3 pages and could not find the Reserve. It shows the Starters Auto and Regular sets as sold out, but do not see the Reserve anywhere. They were still available around an hour or so ago and in plain site. Maybe they sold out and have not updated the graphic yet to put up.
