I believe that it is too hard to compare them given the era and the greatness of them both. But for arguments sake I will throw in my opinion that is completely worthless and uses no stats at all. Jordan I believe is the GOAT. Wasn't it LeBron himself that stated he was chasing the ghost of Jordan?

No, not at all. What has said is as clear as everything else on this thread.

If the Cavs win 4 straight and Lebron keeps playing the way he does and wins the Finals mvp will you be on here saying Great win by the Cavs... total team effort I really don’t see that happening but if you say you would then I’ll believe you. |

It depends if it really was a team effort or not, don't you think?
If they win, it will be because of heroic games from his teammates. LeBron is a stat stuffer, his 40-12-12 average doesn't mean squat. Zizic saved that ball in the 2nd quarter of game 3 which started it all........

I’m genuinely trying to understand why if it’s a win it’s Lebron and a loss it’s the team
I have no problem with the stats and numbers. They are great. Don’t you think he should run back on D when he doesn’t get a call he agrees with? Or be a better leader by example? Create a better culture? Do you think any of those things matter? Or is it just talent and stats? |

I know Kyrie played amazing in 2016 as a 2nd option scoring 40, averaging 27, hitting the game winner in game 7 but to hear Lebron fans tell it he’s never had anywhere close to the talent around him as other all time greats.
I don’t necessarily mean you but it gets said a lot on here. |

It does matter. I think leBron is already doing what absolutely no one is asked for for his team. Now let's say LeBron takes Durant for 45 minutes as his defensive asignment. What do you think will happen?

Lebron would be a lot less efficient on an already offensively challenged team, and/or be in foul trouble.
Durant would let the game come to him, get FT's, and defer to Klay, Curry and the other pistoleros.

I don't think we need to even worry about that happening because I seriously don't think lebron would even try that because of the possible embarrassment that would come of it. If lebron guards him for 45 minutes and Durant still has his normal game, lebron would look stupid and I don't think he even thinks he could shut him down.

do you think lebron is going to play long enough in order to be the first father and son to play in the league at the same time? lebron jr is currently 13, the one and done rule will probably be gone by the time he's 18. lebron jr. he's one of the top AAU players in his age group

LeBron's last year in Cleveland, the Cavs were the 1 seed and lost to the 4 seed Celtics.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

I think michael jordan is a lot like Star Wars in that he was something we had never seen before. His level of athleticism was unprecedented and he looked superhuman among other nba players. At his peak he was one of the fastest players and he played at break-neck speed attacking the basket plus he was super long. He was so tenacious and made absurd shots look beautiful at the same time sportscenter was becoming popular so these amazing shots were broadcast over and over.
In my opinion star wars and michael jordan are the best but it's more in the ungodly separation from their peers than an unbiased judgement on their quality. |
