Has any team been no-hit as an opposing player gets his 3000th hit?
Could be the highlight of the year for the Orioles..... This is embarrassing....someone needs to get fired and Duquette is my vote! Jeff |

Buck needs to go too. He has been making awful decisions with pitchers this year. And Davis as lead off...

Check last June/July, I said that and got jumped on. Buck sucks, always has and the team needs a new direction.

It's not just Buck... It's the damn upper management! Duquette doesn't care ever since he tried to bolt for the Blue Jays.
Angelos is just running the circus; belittling his own fans while making ridiculous amount of money from asbestos cases... Tillman needs to go. Let Manny go to LA in order to get 2-3 prospects... Time to change...

Same. I said it after the toronto game when he left Ubaldo in and Britton on the bench, after ubaldo was getting shelled. That IMO was unforgivable and one of the worst managerial decisions I have seen.

Wow... I was a little late getting home tonight. Settled in and we are already down 10-1 and Bundy’s season ERA has now ballooned to 5.31 on the season. And he’s our “ace”!

It's a win-win today
Hopefully Tillman's last start AND they might also win the game! I love everything he's done for the franchise, was pretty good 2012-2015. But it's time to cut ties. They've given him his due respect I think. |

Definitely time to say goodbye to Tillman, but unsure if Castro (or whoever fills that spot) will do too much better. Another big concern is Bundy. Is he hurt? One more poor start and I would think something has to be wrong with him physically. The O’s might wait a week or two to cut Tillman in case Buddy needs to go to DL.

Three in a row!!!!!
World series is back on, boys!! Saw Tillman is now on the 10 day DL. They called up Yacabonis, I guess that means maybe he's getting a start tomorrow in Game 1 of the double header. I'd rather see David Hess (6 starts at Norfolk - 29.2 IP, 2.12 ERA, 1.079 WHIP) or Tim Melville (5 starts at Norfolk - 28.1 IP, 2.86 ERA, 1.27 WHIP) get a shot. Hess is already on the 40 man. MANNY AND SCHOOP BACK TO BACK!!!!!!!!!!
SO HAPPY!!!! Believe it or not, this is the FIRST time they have gone back to back in the majors. SO happy it finally happened before Manny got traded. I've been waiting for it since they started hitting back to back in the order regularly last season. Hess looking pretty decent after the 1st inning. Not that he was getting creamed either, a couple ground balls through the infield and then a homer. Hoping he takes the #5 spot. |

They HAVE to rebuild at this point. No other option. Been that way for weeks now honestly.
I just hope with Peter Angelos supposedly out of the day to day operations, the franchise gets it together and gives the next GM the authority to do what they need to do. There can't be the cluster**** they've had organizationally for the last 20+ years. Probably the biggest reason they didn't make the right moves to capitalize after 2014. |

I say trade everyone. Machado to LAD, Jones to LAA, Britton to Hou, Brach to NYY, etc. Then sign JJ Hardy, Rafael Palmeiro, etc to at least have an interesting (but cheap and terrible) team on the field....build for the future but still put something on the field that will sell seats and get some attention.

People will still come to Camden if they are honestly trying to improve the team. The status quo has been a complete failure. |

I used to live in the Baltimore area from 82 to the early 2000's, and the O's were a fun team to watch with affordable tickets and (once CY opened) a great stadium. Being a Red Sox fan it was great as you could watch one of the series for a great price. I'd like to see them get rid of the current GM and manager, bring Cal into either role, and completely restructure the team. The worst thing for the O's is that they have to play both powerhouses of the east coast, the Yank's and the Red Sox, so the best they can usually hope for is 3rd in the division.

Been talking to other Cubs fans about this, thought it wouldn't hurt to hear some O's thoughts.
So the obvious rumors is that Machado is the Cubs priority come deadline, who would add a lethal bat and better offense from that position. The rumor thrown around is Addison Russell + for Machado. That would give the Cubs roughly a half season of Machado and 4 years of cheap control for the O's. How realistic is this trade? Russell has been iffy at the plate but is still young and could develop while getting him for multiple years on a cheap contract. Not sure who else would go but this would bolster an already good offense for the Cubs in a window of opportunity. Personally, I'm for it. That's a tough pill to swallow but teams have to take advantage of time of opportunity. Curious to see what other teams are willing to offer. Dodgers seemed to be the ideal candidate but they're a dumpster fire right now.
