Hakeem dominated Ewing and Shaq in the finals and ate Robinson up on the way there

AD has Draymond guarding him

Maybe this more efficient thing comes from not a lick of defense being played

So now players in the 90s were so good, they could D up Hakeem but players today couldn't. Lmao. You guys and your 90s emotional attachment is hilarious. AD would dominate 90s basketball just as much as Hakeem did. They would be battling for top center in the league. He has a 7 foot wingspan, has better handles than any 7 footer in the 90s, shot 34% from 3 this year. If you think anyone in the 90s is dominating AD and AD wouldn't dominate 90s players, there's a problem with your logical thinking skills.

And they're mostly all buddies. Back in the 80's you hated the other team. It was war.

AD would never learn how to shoot a 3 if he played in the 90s

Because the players stayed together and the other best players were the obstacle

Now, the other best players are the solution for some. They just see where the grass is greenest and load it up.

Oh dear. Who could forget that gem of wisdom.

C. Paul and BG over Stockton and Malone amiright.

That dude has gone full retard.

I love AD and he may get on D. Rob and Hakeems level someday, but there's literally not even a 2nd or 3rd Superstar big in the League right now. KAT? Gobert?

It's scary that the internet has given people like pgisback a voice

That emotional attachment you have to the 90s is weird. Things get better and more efficient over time. Anyone who thinks a player in the 90s would dominate a 7 footer like AD who has handles, and athleticism is out of their minds. AD would be dominant in the 90s, lol.

In 20 years people will be trashing the LeBron era then because basketballers have gotten so much more efficient and athletic.

LeBron would be like a Muggsy Bogues in 20 years time, you know, because of the future genetics.

This is hilarious from BO's resident troll

I hope players in 20 years are better than today’s players. Saying players today are better than those 2 decades ago is not trolling, lol. It’s common sense.

Can we pre order 2038 National Treasures? I’d like to lock that in. Sounds like a good investment when the for sure goat will be in there somewhere.

Yep. In 20 years time when we've evolved so much, MJ and LeBron will probably slip to 24th and 25th All time because that far in to the future, the new guys will be doing such crazy things on the court.

Well the court will operate at 60% gravity and the shortest guy will be 12 ft tall in his mech suit. Also, the 20 point shot (think the 90 degree windmill hole in today's puttputt) will be simple for guys with integrated overlay optics.

The fact you don’t believe the overall skill level of the nba won’t increase over time is not surprising. Considering all your ridiculous statements and all. Apparently basketball stopped progressing after the 90s, lol.

Assuming that statement is even remotely accurate in sports, why do so many records stand the test of time and aren’t being broken by these “superior athletes”?

That is the answer. Harder to dominate a sport when the skill around you increases.

You’re contradicting yourself. No one will be able to come along and dominate better than the other players because the level of play across the league will increase. If that is accurate, they’ll never be viewed as better players if they can’t dominate. Can’t be both.

Lebron wins tonight he extends his already record of sweeps in 7 game series according to ESPN. Being a team game and all (what I keep hearing)

Seems like he’s been on some good teams to me

Either that or his conference is terrible

18-27 against the West!! Yikes. Not sweeping them.
