I'm worried these cards are killing Topps Now. Any thoughts on that?

Received my 3 sets with Harper, Pollack and Smith. All 9 cards in one of the small clear boxes. All turned out great. There was no room to bang around in the box. Maybe that is the way to do it with 3 sets at a time. The only issue was potential damage to the top card but there was none this time. Also, the circle tape that is used is almost impossible to get off without tearing it to pieces or cutting.

So far no print runs under 200. There were several low PRs last year. If there are lower PRs I would begin to worry about TN.

I will not buy more then 3sets at a time

I bought 9 altuve week sets for example

So I will get 3 packages in mail

Out of 100 cards I have got so far . 3 show white at bottom

Hope the fix issue for large buyers .. but small amounts is working well

I think Topps could do a little better advertising these and NOW to be honest. It seems like people are only exposed to it in very specific areas such as forums or social media. For Topps NOW specifically, I know they have the logo and stuff at Fenway and potentially other ballparks, but I think it would be cool if they could put together like a 15 or 20 second ad that showcases a past NOW moment and then show the card that goes with it at the end. Or maybe play the highlight and then it zooms out to reveal the card. They have all kinds of time to play hype videos/other ads between innings so I'm sure they could squeeze one in. It's an excellent way to get people to have an emotional attachment.

Living is harder because it isn't associated with a moment, but there's still potential I think. I don't think that Living is killing Topps NOW, but I do think that people are less likely to buy a NOW card when it has no attachment to them. Some collect teams, rookies, etc. But it is impossible for the average person to keep up with multiple cards a day.

Topps NOW died in late 2016 with the release of Autos and relics

i love cards as much as you guys, but this is a very niche hobby, and has been for a very long time

Topps is able to stay in business with NOW and LIVING, as they are practically printing free money

Living and Now are apples and oranges. The only similarity is you buy them online. That's it.

Next year in Heritage boxes they should put an advertisement poster in each box advertising the Living Set. And put a trading card size one 1:24 packs so the set collectors can be given one with each set they buy.

Yea I know, but in general they could do a better job advertising. I still don't think that Living is killing Now.

I am on board with the card sized ad in Heritage. I think it would help a lot.

Not sure I’m reading this correctly - there are 10 regular issue cards (out of 137) cards with PR below 200 thus far this year.

Well compared to last year where there were some close to 100 (112/113). The PRs so far have not been close to those numbers.

Can anyone let me know about the AJ Pollocks. I got mine in today and some have a pink outer border and some have a grayish outer border. When i get home from work ill try to add a scan to show the difference. What color is the border suppose to be. And half of them are damaged very bad
