How are the Markakis and such doing pricewise with the tiny white in the black corner? Does the slight (not major) ding make it tough to sell? Is there a percentage you guys think comes off with a small ding (compared to a massacre?)

I have one at auction now and seems to be doing OK. It was a card I tried to return to the seller but no dice. I have clearly indicated the damage with photos in the listing. It ends on Sunday so we can see where that ends up.

Not sure personally, I absolutely hate listing cards with noticeable damage. The tiny bit of white is really not that bad. My thing is, I have seen them ship others the right way and I refuse to settle when I know that they can come through if they just do the little things.

I'm wondering. Due to the Acuna and the high common prices of the earlier cards, what do you think about maybe the 2 commons this week having PR in the 8000 range because everybody and their mother are ordering quantities and the cards this week tank. Then next week, the PRs are down due to the bloodletting and next week's cards go nuts.

Any thoughts?

I keep thinking at some point, we'll see a down week as set completers realize how crazy the fist few weeks are. But what of Gleyber goes crazy this week and is next weeks cards. Plus there are so many other good guys they can go to.

I don't know how much thought theyput into it, but the $15 per set I think grabbed a lot of folks. That's a discount of $3 a card and $9 total. When Now has a 3 card bundle, you only get $5 off a higher starting point.

I pregamed at Tony Lukes in Philly. Time to watch Acuna, Hoskins and all the young guys. They sell topps at CBP.
