I personally really like the Heritage RCs and RC autos and I'm glad they're in the product. They're probably the best RC autos out there. I know some people preferred having them exclusively in High Number though.

Some questions I have regarding this years release even though I am still all in I am curious about a few things.

Will the production be double like S1?
Will Aaron Judge, Andrew Benintendi & Alex Bregman have throw back variations?
What will be the Target & Wal-Mart exclusives? Deckle Edge Cards, Sporting News Cards, Decals

Just curious and would like any members thoughts on these questions.

Throwbacks are never announced beforehand

Is there anyway to make your money back (forget about profit) from current prices? Unless my math is off, there is no way unless a major hit comes from a case, which would be rare. I don't think you can get a Master completed from one case anymore.

price finally up on GQ also, which with everyone focused on Heritage and Bowman is probably a sleeper

I've only been collecting seriously for the last 2 years, so can't say for sure, but it seems GQ always goes down in value quickly after release.
I like the design, but it's not a product that I would buy in cases or several boxes. Only singles or 1 or 2 boxes at the most for me on GQ.

No. Heritage (actually any wax) should never be opened for the purpose of "making money". Rip wax because it's enjoyable, and if you "hit" something, sell and enjoy

Agree.

The cost alone drove me away because I just like to rip packs. Not looking for my money back, but the current cost makes ripping a non starter for me.

I'm talking about sealed wax, which has gone up significantly after release the last 2 years. I would never break the stuff

That's for cases....I couldn't find anything saying that they'd do it for individual box orders...in the past I've only ever bought four boxes of Heritage (i.e. enough to build the base set and get a nice chunk of the SP's)

Anyway, thanks for the info....it's good to know....

It would be tough at these prices unless a big hit happens...but if you get in on pre orders and it's by the case....yes, you can make money, but you have to put time in, sell sets (inserts) and don't get greedy with offers....imo. Single SP's sell well....
