Well I didn't get an email (yet) but this is now logged onto the PSA website. I just happened to look today and saw it was now registered. So it took 12 business days to register my orders not counting Monday which was MLK day. Hope that helps some of you.

Order Type: 10 day Express
# of cards: 1
Order received per USPS (if possible): 1/8/2018
Order logged per PSA: N/A

Kind of annoying, didn't know about their backlog until after I sent. This is one thing BGS is good at. Next business day after receiving starts the clock and is in the system.

I emailed PSA yesterday to inquire about my package that was received on the 2nd and has not been processed yet. I received the following response this morning in case anybody wants to know their status:

"Hello,

We are currently working on order from 12-29-17.
Your online account will not reflect the submission until the package has been received at PSA and processed into the grading process.
Use the package tracker within your account to verify that the package has been received. Please keep in mind that we are currently very back logged. It may take an additional few weeks to have the order entered into the grading process. You will receive an email notification once the order is in process. The estimated turnaround time listed on the PSA submission form will start once the order has been entered.

Thank you,"

Hope that helps.

PSA is doing their best to make the same mistakes BGS did.

Mine's been sitting there for 8 days. Working on orders from the 29th? So my order will be sitting for another 8 business days approx.?

I disagree. I understand that I can't defend the process without coming across as a PSA fanboy, but I would imagine they're struggling due to the increase in requests following the BGS disaster.

I would have never thought I would be subbing with PSA, but here I am in January 2018 (after opening a PSA account in July 2017) with 490 cards and counting.

I know I'm not the only one who switched services.

They need to fix this though. a 15-20 day lag to enter the order is a little extreme.

I agree with you. I'm sure that it will get back to a normal 1-5 day lag to enter in orders shortly. Honestly, the only reason why I don't get that upset with PSA is that it is already non-guaranteed, and they don't charge me until they are done.

I am starting to get the idea that that BGS and PSA are now outsourcing their grading, meaning they are packaging it up once received and sending it to India or China. It just makes no sense that they have so much demand and cant hire more people.

From a legal standpoint, this would need to be disclosed in the user agreement. Also, there is no way PSA is sending valuable assets across borders. Especially to India and China.

Hiring someone to enter orders into a system should be a force that PSA can add to. I'm assuming the holdup is background checks and specific training on handling and deciphering cards.

And had an order pop today:

Order Type: 45 Day Bulk
# of cards:100
Order received per USPS (if possible): Not sure, but they didn't sit around long.
Order received per PSA: 11/11/17
Order popped: 1/17/18 (41 B Days)
Thanks for the update.

I have a 45 day order that was received on 11/22/17. Hopefully only a few days for me.

This doesn't bode well for my 10 day order from last week. :-(

Just called them on mine (Logged Date): 12/29

Said I was on Day 14 of a 7 Day order. He said it will probably be done Saturday or Monday.

I simply don't get how an order moves this fast while others wait in limbo. I'm flabbergasted why this is OK.
