Yeah I was shocked when I saw it I'm hoping the Jets don't take Jackson especially in the top 10

The thing with QB's is that the most important NFL level skill (being able to read defenses) is not something which is obvious when watching college football. Combine that with the fact that most college defenses are fairly poor, and you don't get a lot of opportunities to see college QB's face the same level of competition that they will in the NFL.

There is a difference between getting arrested drunk one time (still not good but happens to tons of guys) and being a legit alcoholic with a drug problem on the side

I’m not a Mayfield fan, and he is a risk, but the Johnny comparison is lazy

How do you know he's a "party" guy? Define that term because I guarantee you every QB in college and every NFL QB when they were in college, went to parties/partied.

The Johnny comparison is lazy because their upbringings in college were vastly different. Mayfield has a much better arm. IMO I think you are assuming because they both have gotten arrest for being a drunken idiot, and his actions on the field means he will be a head case. At the end of the day, Mayfield getting arrested once is not a huge problem. These are 18-21 year old guys, not everyone of their decisions they make will be perfect. I'm sure everyone here regrets numerous decisions they made when they were this age.

Courtland Sutton and Lamar Jackson in the top-10? Calvin Ridley in the late 20s? Christian Kirk not even in the first round? Wow.

Also can’t see a team taking a flyer on a prospect from West Georgia in the first round. He would need at least a couple of years learning, at least I would think.

But I would love to see the Colts draft Barkley but they appear to be content with Mack. Hoping for Minkah.

I’m confused by your first part...

Sutton is the best WR in the Draft. Can easily go Top 10. So could Ridley, personal preference, but all we really know is both are 1st rounders. Kirk is not. Pure slot dude in the NFL. Browns can take him at 33.

Jackson will go Top 10, 15 at worst, after he crushes workouts. Not a doubt in my mind.

I’ve read mixed reviews about Sutton. Personally, I like him and think he’ll be a solid pro. It was just a couple of weeks ago, it seemed like every article I read was basically calling him overrated and a non-first round talent and now everyone is on his jock.

For the longest time, it’s been Ridley/Kirk as the top 2 guys with Washington/Sutton mixed in at 3rd/4th. I’m just surprised by the sudden change of tune regarding Sutton.

I’ve even thought about collecting Sutton, depending on which team he goes to. I’ve been watching him for a couple years now and really like him.

I’ve also watched Kirk since he was a freshman and haven’t really been that impressed but I can still see him going in the first round.

I was half joking since it’s all a guess right now

You could be totally right

I do guarantee, 100%, Jackson goes high. He is going to crush the pre-draft stuff.

I’d bust over this one as well...

So much value with the Browns 3 second rounders

My top 4 are Darnold/Rosen/Fitzpatrick/Barkley

Give two of those and then go crazy

The Browns need to hope that Houston keeps losing and stays in the top four. I can’t see Barkley slipping out of the top-5, and Darnold/Rosen will go 1-2 if Darnold enters. With the way it is now, Fitzpatrick/Barkley are basically interchangeable at 3-4. Worst case scenario is Houston wins the last two and their pick is outside the top-five.

Sutton is best WR in the draft in my opinion, though him and Ridley could honestly be interchangeable. Jackson will likely be a top 10 pick (I think he’s second round personally), so I put him there based on the likelihood he goes there.

That T from West Georgia was a top recruit for Texas, but was kicked off the team. The Eagles need depth for the days after Jason Peters, and he has the length, size and athleticism (INCREDIBLE athleticism) to succeed in the NFL with a couple of years of development. Consensus in 2nd round pick, but watching film on him, Id take him in the first

Courtland Sutton is a football player. That kid is going to be a really great WR at the NFL level for sure. He would be great in the right situation, Washington probably will ruin his career though. So I hope he lands somewhere else.

Yeah that week 17 Colts - Texans game will end up to be the most important game of the year for the Browns. Difference between a #3 pick and #7 or 8 pick. I would love to have any 2 of these 4 (Darnold/Rosen/Fitzpatrick/Barkley) and fully expect them to use some later picks to trade back up into the first round for a 3rd pick again.

As a Bama fan, I'd rather Minkah go the the Colts (like you have it), even though they aren't much better than the Browns. I also really like Ridley to the Bears. Ridley would be great for Trubisky.

Ronnie Harrison in Pittsburgh would be great. Dude is a straight headhunter and will be a star in the NFL imo, even though he needs a little work on his man coverage.

Lamar Jackson might impress at the combine and in workouts but people putting him in the first round, and in front of Baker Mayfield? Please lol (I know you didn't have him in your first round, just throwing that out there since a lot of people do.)

EDIT: As a Raiders fan, I would be very pleased with Roquan Smith at 12.

How is Mayfield gonna be probably the 4th QB taken? I could be completely wrong this year but I was right about Watson, at least what we were able to see this year.

FWIW, I'm not an Oklahoma or Mayfield fan.
I’m with you 100%. I could give a crap about OU. I’ve watched a whole lot of Rosen, Darnold, and Mayfield. None of them pass the “eye test” like Mayfield does. I’ll say this when it comes to passing ability I see a whole lot of Jared Goff of this year in him.

With Buffalo already trading for Benjamin, and drafting Zay Jones in the first round last year plus trading for Jordan Matthews I doubt they go after a WR in the first round. Its most likely a QB, maybe Mayfield.

Zay Jones was a second rounder last year but we shall see. There’s gonna be a surprise or two, or three.
