You're talking crazy now. You gotta hit a couple monsters to break even. Silvers are going to start coming down to reality with the retail flood. Sell Sell Sell or Hold Hold Hold.

$5k+ for a case, what do you hit to even be close to 1/2 your money back besides a big gold or black

Those people holding FOTL cases, what do you do when all the big black 1/1 rc are hit? When there are more silvers in the market than expected? When retail can be had for cheaper? What then?

At 5 k, I can buy the best hits. I could buy more hits than you get out of a case!

I'm in the "hold" group for cases. But, if I had loose boxes, I'm a ripper.

For me, this is not a business (sometimes I feel like it is), it's more of a hobby. So, if I get a chance to rip a product that is producing well (have some enjoyment), I will definitely consider it.

Each person is different...different circumstances for sure.

More silvers than expected based on a few retail breaks?

As much as anyone wants to guess which way this stuff will go, we all really have no clue.

With regular cases at $3400, FOTL for $1k more seems reasonable.

You act like if someone doesn't get full value then it's the end of the word But no, I literally spelled out worst case scenario: rip the boxes.

Ebay sellers now are about to start undercut each other.

Cheapest box yesterday was $530

Now this morning $480

Now $450.

Honestly, I really don't think the current market matters much for the long haulers... Seems like there are 3 camps, those who are holding long term, those who are quick flipping and those who are ripping.

What I am interested in is not the current market which is pushing $500. But in 6 months to a year, when everything is dried up and scarce. How much will those boxes be going for..?

Someone snatched all these up for $480. I'd take my chances on one of these over 2 hobby any day. Be interesting to see where retail wax goes.

I got 2 more boxes of FOTL in last night from a cancelled order which Eric reinstated after calling Panini. I opened both and they werent good. One of my boxes was really odd. I had almost no Rc base in it. There was a total of 6 base rc's in the box. But it had 3 golds and 2 autos (Dennis smith Jr & Shaquille O neal) in it tho.

Hmm, that's a little weird. Individual boxes are selling for ~$500/box (so that'd be ~$6000/case, and that's even excluding any case premium). Wasn't a lot of money left on the table (around $1k)?

In any case, if the seller got them at $120/box, he/she still made a killing.

White Sparkle Packs could do really well in secondary market. Depends on how Panini goes about it.
