I don't know if it's the new rookie class, the explosion of previous prizm prices, the new crop of superstars and prices that blew up already, the judge/bellinger effect, all the football stars getting injured and their season being meh, the FOTL hype and frenzy....or a combination of everything, but this is a really exciting time for basketball cards and I can't wait to bust some more prizm. I haven't felt this way about basketball for a long time.

The rookie class has potential, but not 300/box potential. I'm excited too and feel fortunate to do even just a couple boxes at 120 per.

I'd auction it off instead of letting it sit there and collect dust lol. IMO the emergent inserts don't do nearly as well as the base set. Congrats on the hit though, $$$ for sure

I'm in favor of listing it high with obo. And it's true what he says about emergent inserts not bringing in the same as the base sets. With all that said, you have a jersey numbered red shimmer emergent so I think you have a lot more room for flexibility (you just need to find that one Lonzo ball jersey # collector.....which there's probably more than one of hahahaha)

This is worth probably $600-800 to the right buyer. It's worth 30-40% of the base.

I'd auction it honestly and I seldom say auction cards. If BIN/OBO I'd go $1500 and hope someone thinks it's a steal and smashes the BIN.

So unless you think the base Red Shimmer is more than $3K, there's next to no chance this thing is worth "way more". But I've been wrong before.

You are probably right about what it's worth at this point but it's the first one and jersey #. First one always brings more money anyways.
