Looks like I'm getting screwed on my packages though, I got 4 tracking numbers for my 4 boxes. 3 are just label created so they pry won't be here tomorrow like the other one that has moved.

I just did this a little bit ago. I'll be at work so I just had it delivered to a FedEx a couple of miles from my house. Going to swing by after work tomorrow and pick them up.

Dennis Smith Jr. hyper just sold for $40. I sent a best offer of $30 and he countered with $45. Thought about it while I ate lunch, came back to offer $40 and got a notification about that time that it sold. Pretty new to basketball collecting but I like Dennis Smith Jr. a lot. Not sure if I should have just bit the bullet at $45 or not.

Login/create a fedex account and see what options there are. There were a bunch of Walgreens listed around me too that have a FedEx pickup/drop off location so it doesn't have to be an official FedEx store.

New released products always result in inflated prices. Wait a few weeks and price will settle down. Unless he puts up 50 points in a couple games which isn't likely.

So what's the breakdown on silver prizms out of these boxes compared to regular hobby or retail?

Is it between 3 and 6 silvers per box, depending on what other various prizm parallels you hit (like 3 silvers, 2 blues and a red = 6)?

I mean, blasters aren't exactly known for silver prizm RCs, but if you were to buy 6 blasters you could probably hit a decent silver RC from them.

I only did 1 blaster last year and hit 2 silver RC's, both sucked though.

Yeah sometimes you can snag deals cuz its hard to price things in the beginning. For the hyper prizm it seems that it's a replacement for flash prizm from previous years. If that's the case, those usually don't sell for too much and there should be plenty of them. I do think the hyper looks nice.

Don't wait too long though. Might miss out on MASSIVE opportunities too. Although, with the recent Prizm price explosion, it may not be the case anymore.

But it was definitely the case in past releases. I remember buying (and selling, still cry about it) silver prizm RCs of solid players because I thought they couldn't get any higher or I needed quick money and preferred to liquidate cards vs. using bank money....big time mistake...so don't be a fool like me.

I guess the question is: When is the best time/price to buy (if any) for this year's rookies?
