Obviously these cards look great.
Is it worth grading the Otani, Acuna, Maitans from this set?

I'd say yes. I've almost collected the set but haven't had any graded though. They're beautiful cards, can't imagine them not being even more desirable graded.

You mean base Otani's right? Because the Blacks are 1/1's in the set. If you got two blacks then that would be alarming.

He's referring to BGS Black Labels. In other words, four 10 subgrades.

Last time I checked there were 11 BGS Black chrome Otani's, no Orange ones graded black
There were 2 PSA 10 Orange Otani's. for what it's worth.

Just sent in my base and green Otani to Beckett. Effin $70. I got hosed. But it'll worth the extra if I get a 9.5/10 on that green.

What's your purpose? Do you plan to resell? Then yes. If you are going to hold as PC items, then no.

No auto on the Otani so, question is, does one grade the orange, green and black 1/1 PSA or Beckett?

Me personally I will probably send my Otani I pulled today... to BGS, as much as I don't want too. I feel the subgrades could add value, assuming I get a True Gem Mint+10 sub(s) or possibly a Pristine...or dare I say, another Black label

I'll know better once I scope it out, but this also means I will need to send a lot more with it... really don't want to deal with BGS anymore.

Moose: If I may ask, what is the problem with BGS? I know the BGS 10 is a little more difficult than PSA 10's but any other reasons or problems? I usually only use BGS for autographed cards anyway! Plus, your submissions have turned out quite nice for you. lol

Ba$e Cost... cases are so thick... the ridiculous turn around time on bulk submissions (numerous complaints on here)

Yup, I have had some great subs come back. I reserve most of those for 2017 Mega/Chrome which for the most part come out of the pack in True Gem or better condition (excluding autos) those can have issues from all the handling.
