Lets assume negative press is what has caused the decline in prices. I don't think there is any press Judge can possibly get that can be worse than the K record press (unless he did something like Gary yesterday). The K record press is done and there is no press currently on Judge. So with that in mind, in season speaking only, his cards prices are probably near a bottom. We know there will upcoming press for ROY and 40 HR's passing Robinson. Food for thought.

Altuve has been slipping a little bit, and possibly hurt. Trout is being trout. I dont care what people say judge has another month like he had earlier and he could easily take the mvp. If judge goes may or june judge and you instantly have him chasing mvp, and the rookie hr record..

Respectfully disagree.
His Roy is packed in, has been for a long time. What was driving prices was his MVP and Triple Crown threat. Those are gone. MVP ain't happening with a second half of a season being the opposite of the first half. That is a wash, JMO.

i agree, it's over johnny. now if they make the post season, prices will rise from where they are today

Like i said. Judge has a month he hits 10 home runs and goes ape hes gonna be very much in the mvp discussion because theres gonna be a huge chance theyre in first place after it, hes chasing the rookie hr record, rookie of the year, massive come back after everyone chalked him up as done... fogetabout it. You wouldnt hear another name in the news. Its the perfect storm... hes getting all these teammates back too...

His second half average was in the .170s for a while its over .200 now. Hes not hitting .200 for the second half... how high will it go? The past two weeks his babip is .360... uh oh. He just needs to make contact. He keeps hitting the ball and hes gonna keep getting hits.

I dont even know what altuve does. How does he not score more runs and have more rbis with all those hits, steals, etc? Hes not even leading in rbis or runs on his own team.

I agree!

ROY, MVP & Triple Crown threat were at one point baked into the price inflation. This was all communicated to the masses via the press. After the K streak press ROY, MVP & Triple Crown are all baked out of the card price inflation because the press was so negative and for such a long period of time. Now. Press is at a stand still. No press whatsoever for Judge. So, if we use press as a tool to measure card price inflation/deflation, its possible his card prices are nearing a bottom.
