Would love it if he can get to double digit stolen bases as well just as a bonus to his ridiculous stats. Already has 7.
Ahhhh... did not know that... thx for the education.

Yes. MLB, the corporation, will quietly suggest he participate.

Not really a good comparison.

I don't think he will.

and with it being in DC and Harper saying he's going to participate in it, the hype over him in it will make up for Judge not participating in it.

ALL RISE!

If he goes 1-3 or 1-4 every game with 2 strikeouts, I don't really care...
Will be in the .270-.285 range with 40-45HRs and 100RBI.

Rookie what?

Not only will he defend it, but he will win it again... And then bat around 280-300 for the rest of July... SHIP IT!

Are people really trying to argue that striking out is not that bad for hitters to do? Ha. Kind of like WAR saying Ryan howard and his 50 homers and 140 rbis was easily replaceable, lol.

Problem is if you make contact and don't strikeout how do you know it's going to be an out?

Ryan Howard hit over .229 only once after 2011 until 2016. If he hit at least 260-270 like he did earlier in his career, there would have been next to nothing wrong with that. Batting 225, not acceptable.

Stanton has hit between .240 and .265 5 times in his career already. He isn't even 30. 1100K's in 950 games. No one cares.

Reggie Jackson 2600K's in 2800 games. Career .260 hitter. Hall of Famer.

Yeah, but no matter how many times you strike out your batting line at the end of your season is your batting line. 300/350/500 with 250 K's is better than 290/330/450 with 50 K's. You produced what you produced, maybe Ks stopped you from producing more? But you still produced what you produced.

Some players probably need to swing hard to hit homers. Maybe Judge can shorten his swing and trade 20 homers for 50 Ks? Maybe he'll hit 10 points higher, but his overall line would be worse.

Aaron Judge hits epic homer, sets dubious strikeout record in Yankees

Strike out with a man on first or ground into a double play? I'll take the K 100 out of 100 times.

.290 with a .420obp......I'll take that 100 out of 100 times too
