Anybody could paint something else over a Glebe or Pence fully-rendered piece as well, so "simple pencil sketches" are not the problem.
Not to mention he completely dismisses pencil art as a historic medium.

Not to blame, but should take it upon themselves to fix? Oh and both Topps and consumers benefit from this fix, but artists don't...

go through the rigor of pumping out 100 cards in 1 month and a half (sometimes less, sometimes longer) while working a regular 9-5 and raising two kids---- Then Tell me that pencil sketches are bottom barrel, Then tell me that those artists that produce pencil sketches are worthless. AND TO TOP IT OFF, the Collector doesnt want to pay the artists price for his returns--- its kinda of ridiculous actually to expect Artists to put 4-5 hours into a card so you can re-sell it for a mint and then not pay the actual artist when he/she tries to sell their returns...... Its pretty messed up actually. Most Artists do this because they love the medium and the subject matter, and they try to produce decent cards for the collector while meeting strict time and license constraints. .... - Anybody can do a couple cards with all the time in the world. Artist that are ACTUALLY working for company's have deadlines, and they have minimums to meet. ... and as we read earlier this guy is ripping off other art and putting it on cards, EVEN if he is drawing it (which he isn't or maybe he'd have a job with topps) Its still RIPPED OFF SHADY WORK. anybody that thinks there is any way that this guy has a right to take a card that artists have worked very hard to get approved and produce under time constraints and such is down right out of their mind!

It sounds like you see unhappy doing sketch cards and should stop.

If you want to criticize collectors for thier behaviors then you are inviting the criticisms about quick rushed sketches and the rest of it. Carry on if that's the road you want to go down.

As far as your comments about me personally, I still don't have an issue with anything I posted in this thread.

That's what i thought it looked liked. It has a uniform shine to it like printer ink. The only other way to kinda get it to look like that is to spray that clear coating on it, but even that is rarely so uniform.

I know this guy's grammer is nearly incomprehensible, but I'm fairly certain he made sure to make that portion extra messed up. It never actually says he'll give that money to them. He left the word 'give' out completely.

Apparently on the internet somewhere phoenixromero12 is claiming not to be phoenixromero45... even though the eBay username was also phoenixromero12... and phoenixromero45 knew that the phoenixromero12 account had not been logged in to for months.

However, to make it simple:

phoenixromero45 ip address:

70.173.46.122 : ip70-173-46-122.lv.lv.cox.net

and these mobile ip addresses:

166.170.15.121 : mobile-166-170-015-121.mycingular.net
166.137.8.97 : mobile-166-137-008-097.mycingular.net

Both of the mobile ip addresses ping to Westminster CA.

phoenixromero12 ip address:

166.137.8.32 : mobile-166-137-008-032.mycingular.net
166.137.8.51 : mobile-166-137-008-051.mycingular.net

Both of the mobile ip addresses also ping to Westminster CA.

Thank you blowout forums for provided an excellent read/story this morning. This has to be one of the best I've read the short time I've been here.

So in summary you start with a detective comic building with suspense, then a pause/lull for banter, then the villain reveals itself to spew idiocracy with the detective heroes determined to get to the truth by convincing the less savy villain to talk itself into a hole. Just when it got good a pause for more random banter only to end with the evidence coming out towards the end.

Brilliant job folks.
