Very concerning. We put trust into COMC that we'll get what we buy. Are those my cards? If so, please send them back. Lol

This is another issue with them, anytime you have a problem you get these condescending e-mails. Instead of finding and fixing the problem.

That seems like the moral thing to do for sure. Those most likely belong to someone else.

Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?

Did this monday and emailed Nathan directly on Tuesday. Haven't heard back yet.

COMC may have purchased them outright from the seller and taken the hit for mailing them out accidentally.

Why are people so reluctant to picking up the damn phone and call.
I know they aren't the best at answering the phone, but it's better than waiting for an e-mail that may never come.

So I finally decided to send in a shipment of around 450 cards and decided with the 8 week time frame. Originally the due date was 5/17 but has been pushed back to 5/22. Is this normal for them to change the due date after it has passed?

**And 5 minutes after posting the above they are magically active and ready for pricing...

Well, sounds like you saved $55 in processing fees if they came in this morning. Congrats! They keep getting mine done on time. Argh! ;-)

I work 9-5 M-F and when I tried to call after work they didn't answer. Email is the easiest for me and it leaves a trail.

(I haven't sent anything in 2 years), shipment expected 6/12, of about 1500 cards, they say 133 are damaged, absolutely absurd. And the photo they sent is terrible quality.

If I sent 525 cards in under basic....what should I expect for processing fees? Thanks!

I thought that was when you sold the cards. I'm talking about the fees to list them on the site. Cuz I just got an email saying I needed to upload more credit so they can upload my cards

Nope. That is up front. You may be thinking of the .25 shipping fee added to the sale price of each of your cards.

Seems to be the going rate of damage, anywhere from 5-10%.

Same here...got the dreaded email with the blurry pics...a bit over 100 damaged in a 1000+ submission. I have no doubt that 30-40 are legit...but 100+ is absurd. Thankfully, I never use basic for anything high dollar

I just got my shipment from the Spring Cleaning sale. A handful of the cards I purchased had some damage and this concerns me. Mainly because I also got my "damaged" cards back from my last submission and they weren't nearly as messed up as some of the ones I bought from them. The thicker cards such as relics that I purchased had the worst corner issues. Most standard cards were fine. Some of my "damaged" ones that I submitted I would still send in to grade and would expect at least a 9 on them.

How are you planning on handling this? Would the damage have shown on their photos, so you can prove it happened after you bought them? Can you post some pics?

I'll be requesting shipment on my Spring Cleaning batch in the next week or so, and you've got me worried now. If they're to the point where they can't handle incoming OR outgoing cards w/o damaging 1-in-10, something has got to be done...

The damage is small enough to not be seen in the photos but more than the damage of my rejected cards, if that makes sense. I'm not going to say anything because I don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping them back but I'm probably going to doing more shopping locally from now on. Basically, it is enough where I wouldn't want to bother with having them graded but they're fine for my PC. I would say nothing arrived in less than near mint condition. Maybe I'm just being picky but what irks me is that they rejected some that were in better condition than ones they sent me.

I'd contact them, anyways...maybe an email with a few pics of your own, that they could compare with the images they have. They might refund some of our store credit back to you, but at least you'd be letting them know that there's a problem with their shipping practices and you're not happy about it. If people don't make it known to them, then they'll keep doing whatever it is they're doing.

I wish I had a scanner but I'll take a couple pics and send them to them. Honestly, I think the issue is with the processing. They were shipped and packed as well as they could be and there was no damage to the box. I do like that I got a graded card box though. That's nice for my collection so it wasn't a complete bust lol
