RIP.

With the violent nature of football, I'd much rather take the baseball route if it were available. Especially as a positional player.

Interesting

He had some real life issues with substance abuse relating to all his injuries from what I remember.

Not sure how college football will help that but I hope it works out for him.

He tried that. Wasn't good enough(and I think there was some off the field stuff)

Hopefully he can get through school and lead a good healthy life.

I remember when he was drafted to play baseball. Too bad things didn't work out for him on the diamond. I wish him the best of luck on the gridiron.

He has to be getting close. 25 years old and has hit about a buck-sixty in 70 games of AAA ball.

A walk on as a quarterback. When I first saw it I thought he would be a secondary guy..CB or Safety. He is basically the size of Richard Sherman... Tate 6'3" 200lbs... Sherman 6'3" and 195 lbs.

Good Luck Donavan.

Saw him play in Eugene... One of the most cringe experiences I've witnessed was a 7-10 year old kid before the game asking Donovan if he knew anything about a player who had recently gotten added to the roster (Donovan of course) "who had made a bunch of bad decisions and got in trouble" - kid was obviously clueless and Tate played it off super well.. Still will never forget standing there rattled

Remember him and Heathcott the huge names in 2009 Elite. I was buying a few of a guy named Mike Trout for a third of the price.

Is that before or after you were making thread after thread here about how Trout wasn't going to pan out?
