Default Could the Draft Hurt Your PC?

I think my PC player may be dropped now. I hate to see it happen but I think Harry Douglas will be the odd man out. The Falcons didn't really use him until they needed him and then they let him go. Went to Tennessee and they hardly use him. As a vet getting averaging 300 yards in 3 years means cut time. It didn't help that the Titans drafted 2 wide receivers.

Doesn't matter if it's the draft, a trade, or new scheme etc.... Father time catches up to our PC players eventually. It is tough to grasp at first but be thankful you collected a rookie premier player in the modern age of cards so you will always have something to chase.

My 1st PC player Marcus Trufant is kind of like Harry Douglas in that he was at the rookie premier giving him a giant surge of cards... then nothing but a few topps total cards here and there then bam he has a breakout season in 07 like Douglas had in 13 and they make a few nice cards the next season or 2. Sadly after Trufant retired the cards I did not own on the internet dried up quickly. Its been over a year since I added a new card and in the last 4 years combined maybe 5 cards. That is when you realize you need a new goal so I moved onto a new PC player...otherwise I would have nothing to collect at all.

Mike Glennon collectors might be a little upset as well as Mike Glennon himself.

I feel like Eddie Royal who I PC, and who came in the same year as Douglas (and who have cards together) is on the same track. I was shocked that Score added Royal for 2017, but I can't imagine he will be on the Bears this year with his salary and injury history the past few years. At 31 at the end of the month, not sure where or if he lands anywhere. It has been fun, and as Seahawks fan said, there will always be cards to chase!!

I PC Walter Payton so the draft will have 0 impact as far as he's concerned. I do however would like to start a side PC of Joe Mixon.

Could the draft hurt a collector's PC? Absolutely.

Did this past draft hurt my PC? No.

Terrance Williams is pretty safe at the moment as the Cowboys #2/Outside receiver. (Cole Beasley is probably the current #2 unless Dak decides to push the ball downfield more) The Cowboys drafted Ryan Switzer, but he's a Beasley clone and won't challenge for an outside position. They also drafted Noah Brown in the 7th who could potentially outshine Williams as a big-body, goal line received, but that would take a lot of development on Brown's part. Excited to have both Switzer and Brown on the team, but I think Williams is pretty safe for this season with his 4-year extension.

I can say that his cards are toxic right now.

How the draft hurt my small PC of Andre Williams and Rueben Randle back when they were on the Giants, well... they both got cut because of it. I collect Shepard and Paul Perkins now who will also probably get cut in 2 years also lol. Both Randle and Shepard were drafted in the second round ironically and both Williams and perkins were drafted in the forth round. Signs say I shouldnt PC them either lol

Nope. My "PC" took a hit when the Pats traded for Cooks. Nothing to kill the Malcolm Mitchell hype like getting a more proven dude on the roster...

I only player PC (aside from select RCs) my alma mater, WMU. With the high draft selection of Corey Davis this year, my PC will go from a few cards to get of a low level draft pick to "in everything". I suspect I won't be completely diligent on getting everything. I don't want all my hobby budget on one guy and I certainly didn't go bonkers on all the Greg Jennings cards. He will be easy trade for me going forward as a default though. I would be happy to trade other RC/autos for any Corey Davis cards in the future.
