Default eBay seller Barnhollow???

Does anybody know what happened with eBay seller Barnhollow?
I haven't seen items from their ID in quite a while and when I looked at their info on eBay it stated that they were no longer a registered user.
Any information out there?

Sad to see that as they had great prices and it helped Celeb Authentics liquidate excess inventory.

Agreed, this is sad news. Found a lot of great pieces during the time they were active and really great values.

I've been to the CA website and unfortunately I don't see myself ever buying anything close to their retail prices. What a shame.

Bummer. I got some seriously good deals from them. Which, I suppose, is probably why they stopped going the auction route. Sorry I never got one of their Cabin in the Woods posters at a good price...

The Rebelscum forum had a pretty strong negative opinion of CA from what I've read. Just putting it out there.

I've read lots of things there. They have a huge thread about Harrison Ford on there somewhere. I've read questioning of authenticity. I've read plenty of unhappiness with the pre-orders and filling them in a remotely timely manner. I've read a lot of unhappiness with the pricing as well as the customer service.

Google rebelscum celebrity authentics and you should get links to the variety of opinions from them over the years. I'm no member there; so, just throwing some info out there because I don't know who is worth listening to on either side.

Should also be said that Official Pix is a big part of that forum; so, that could be some of it. No idea to be honest.

Hmmmm. Very interesting. Timely, yet intriguing.

Been said a few times on here. CElebrity Authentics does in person at cons and has those celebs sign a bunch of other stuff to sell on their site. Same as creation entertainment. If you are scared these are forgeries just go to one of the cons and get the stuff in person.

For those that followed Barnhollows auctions...is it just me or are the CA auctions getting a TON more than they would on ebay?

That's the reason they left eBay. They were losing their shirts on most of those eBay auctions.

Honestly I've never met more gullible people in my life.

Celebrity Authentics is Gridiron Authentics.

Gridiron Authentics have sold thousands and thousands of fake autographs.

Look it up for yourself: Gridiron Authentics, Post your take on them - Autograph Live

You can read through all 20 pages but I'll save you some time. They sell fake autographs.

They were kicked off of ebay as gridironauthentics they were kicked off of ebay as celebrity authentics and they are now kicked off as barnhollow. And now they are doing their own auctions on their site? You people like throwing your money out.

Just because PSA says its fake, doesn't mean it is fake. If they think it is real, their opinion doesn't make it real. With all the mistakes these authentication companies have made I don't see why they are still accepted.
not sure what was going on with gridiron, but I think the current CA company is in good standing.

I think the autos on the CA items are real, the items in the auctions usually have a defect in some way, or are of movies no one wants (ie the newest Conan movie)

BarnHollow wasn't kicked off. CA went a different route and BH left eBay.

Have spoken to two celebrities at events about CA and they have confirmed their signings and future ones with CA.

That's the exact thinking that left so many sports collectors with fake autographs. They have signings with athletes/celebrities there is no doubt about that. They then mix in fakes with the real items and have scammed thousands of people. I have no idea how this company and Joe Lamothe are still in business.

Be careful. Unless you have concrete proof that this is being done, you are setting yourself up for a lawsuit. Just saying.

Yeah by Gridiron Authentics track record I would say there is some proof.

If you have hard evidence then don't post it on a message board, go to the FBI with it.

Go to every celebrity they claim to have done signings with agent and publicist.

If you are that sure of the evidence, take a stand.

I'm just trying to help people out and not let him take advantage of people like he did with GA. I honestly thought this guy was shut down.

Just taking a look at their website and signings disproves that. I am saying if you got the goods then why do it on here to a limited amount? When you can shut them down and send a message across the industry.
