Default Indy's Comic Picks for 3.15.17

Indy's Weekly Hot, Cool and Collected Comic Picks for this week!

AMERICAN GODS #1 - Great author, check. TV Series coming, check. Smaller publisher, check.

SPIDER-MAN #25 - Both the Venomized Variant, and the Sketch "Classic" Variant will be tougher to find.

BATWOMAN #1 - Back in her own series. The Jones Variant is pretty sweet too.

PUNISHER #10 JUSKO BOX VARIANT - These box variants have been tough to get in stores, so you might want to order online to make sure you get one of these iconic covers.

VAMPIRELLA #1 CAMPBELL VIRGIN VARIANT - There's also a Campbell Artists sketch variant as well.

GOD COUNTRY #1 3RD PRINT!

INDY'S GUILTY PLEASURE PICKS

DOLLFACE #1 2ND PRINT - 1st Print Sold out, 2nd prints can be more valuable in certain cases, I'm grabbing one because I like the series, and just sticking it away for a bit.

AMERICA #1 SIGNED BY GABBY RIVERA FOR $3.99! (1 PER CUSTOMER)

TEEN TITANS #1 signed by Benjamin Percy

VARIANT CHUM - Books that are most likely sold out everywhere online already.

Red Sonja Vol 7 #3 Cover I Incentive J Scott Campbell Virgin Cover

Venom #5 Clayton Crain Variant

Keeping checking this thread throughout the week for additional picks, news and comic views........

Not much for me this week.
Few sets of American Gods & JG Jones Batwoman cover. Most likely missed out an a decent priced virgin JSC red Sonja.

Keep it up ---- sooner or later, you will park your vehicle(s) on the street instead of the garage(s) where it(they) meant to be.

I passed on the Red Sonja virgin, but I did pick up that other JSC incentive character design cover. Love stuff like that, so happy to add one to my collection. Hopefully it comes in minty fresh and ready for CGC SS at some point.

Was that America #1 Signed a recent addition? I don't remember seeing it in the site when I put in my order. Going to the city on Friday, maybe I'll order one for in store pick up.

It's been there a while. I almost ordered it but I don't like the look of Cover A.

Light week for sure.
2X God Country #1 3rd Printing
1X God Country #2 2nd Printing
1X God Country #3
1X Batwoman #1 Jones Variant

Shop didn't get any of the Campbell covers besides the Vamperella Sketch and it had some nasty spine damage and no Jusko Punishers.

Nearly all the American Gods issues were damaged at my LCS - all 3 covers. Some had spine ticks and some had weird line impressions on the back.

I observed the same with a few LCS.

Those Jusko covers are hard to find nm copies in. Having black covers on poor paper is not helping.

Red Sonja JSC Virgin Variants seem to be available on Comics Exposure. Also anyone have thoughts on the Tyler Kirkham Unknown Comics variant for AMS #25. I love the cover so I picked up one for the collection.

I would NOT purchase from CE, history of damaged product and/or lengthy shipping times.

LOVE the Kirkham cover from UC. They are having him in for a signing soon, you might inquire about getting yours signed if that's something you'd be interested in.

Few weeks back was my first time ordering from CE. They were slower than Midtown but the packaging was bulletproof. May have stepped up their game. Thanks for the heads up about the in store.

Have ordered from them once and it was a lengthy wait not to mention I was sent a wrong comic. They were good about letting me keep the incorrect variant and mailing me the one I originally ordered but haven't ordered from them since based on the wait.
