What is a player auction?

Well, a player auction is very similar to a player draft break - except you bid on the spots that you want similar to any auction online. The few differences are: 1. forum posts are used to bid and 2. the bidding deadline is usually not set until the auction has reached (or nearly reached) the break even point.

We understand that player auctions are not for everyone - so please feel free not to join.

For your bids to count, you MUST include the card # and name where applicable. I might not allow a bid without these.

Bids are in $2.00 minimum increments until the spot reaches $20.00 and then $5.00 minimum increments after $20.00. Once a spot reaches $500, bid increments become $10. Please, whole dollar bids only (no $5.01 bids). Please no +5 bids. (Because someone could bid $100 at the same time and therefore your bid becomes +105?) You can bid more than $2/$5/$10, but that is the minimum.

Any bid made with change ($5.86, $100.99, etc) will be rounded to the next whole dollar - however, in the final seconds a $99.99 bid will lose to a $100 bid even though the $99.99 is rounded up to $100. Please only make whole dollar bids.

Sniping - If you wait until the last minute, you may miss out. Fair warning.
