That's the idea.

Houston has slipped a bit lately, 5-5 in their last 10. Same with OKC too.

Point is, the race isn't over, there is a lot of basketball left to be played.

My point is that Harden turns the ball over a lot as well.

I've seen peeps mention a ton of times about RW's TO's so was more of an FYI.

man crush on durant?
i can only attest to the players i like and i almost like very nba player. each player has their own positives/negatives and each player offers something to the team. teams go places, players don't.
i don't like westbrick because i thought he killed the relationship between durant and him. he kept taking a lot of shots i didn't agree with and durant got pissed. durant and him could have been a solid team IMO, but durant left and that's it. now durant has the warriors and westbrick is left alone with a few big men.
for the record, i'd be excited to watch okc beat the warriors because i think they could. they've got the big men to run down low and the dubs don't. dubs have struggles when they can't hit the jump shot and if a big man is in the middle, they can be shut down faster than a car without oil

Well as long as he can keep shooting the 105th top fg% in the league the skies the limit. I mean only 3.5 people from every team shoot a better percent!

More surprising WB hot-takes from a GS homer.

It's like you guys have to see WB fail in order to gain some sort of substantiation after the Durant acquisition. Hilarious.

That's what I don't get.... Why are these GS fans so insecure that they have to come into a thread that has nothing to do with their team to badmouth a guy?

You don't see Cleveland or LA fans here in droves to try to put another team's superstar down.

Really? I'm a denver fan if it comes down to it. I like watching GS play because I like watching good team basketball. I have a slight problem with Westbrook being designated the Goat when he's shooting the 105th best percentage in the nba. Well maybe if he had a top 3 player beside him like he did for 9 years when durant was okc. Or james harden who was there for three seasons. Or ibaka who was there for 7 seasons. I will put up 10k against anybody on these boards that westbrook will never win a title. He is a me first guy who will derail any talent he is lucky enough to play with

That's mah shootin' forward, man.

They are an odd group for sure. You'd think they'd put that much effort into worrying about their own superstar, especially considering how he's looked shaky in close games this year and wilted in the WCF's last year...

I'm a fan of neither team and just a fan of basketball and good players in general, but it's definitely a weird dynamic.

Who's calling him the GOAT? No one here is? The media? Harden's taken that designation over with them? I guess appreciating what a guy is doing the season is calling him the GOAT

Well me calling him the goat is less of a stretch than me being a GS homer when I dared to question his statistics. I guess if you want to bring in #alternatefacts ha ha

Lol right. For being such a 'Denver' fan, it's quite odd that nearly all your comments are directed in GS threads praising their stars or complaining about the officiating against them, and the other half spent in WB threads trying to downplay him at every opportunity.

Hey. Do you, man. If it makes you sleep easier at night, more power to ya. His success obviously threatens you in some way. Nobody called him the GOAT except for yourself.

Keep reaching.

Well even the goat of this year when his fg% is 105th. I haven't looked in to TO% yet either. Don't make me go there ha ha.. He's a good player but he's never winning ish and this whole conversation is moot.

To be fair you pick out stats and ignore everything else. You've made your mind up, you don't like him and you dislike him so much you're willing to put up 10K on it..that's cool, dunno why you gotta trash him here, create a Westbrook sucks thread and will never win an NBA Title thread. Nobody here is claiming him to be the best that's ever played the game. I'm just enjoying the season and his empty selfish stats that still have OKC in the playoff race. Hope it all works out and good luck on the bet!

I actually try to post after games he does well in and don't post after his trash games because the hate on westbrick is in full throttle post bad games.

I post in every thread and I've bashed the dubs too. They're a finess team IMO who can go cold on their own. There greatest attribute is their demise, the same with Westbrook, but when the Warriors can't make a jump shot you can beat them. Klay, curry and Durant are some of the BEST shooters ever IMO. Klay can make 30 threes if you guard him or he can miss 30 when you don't guard him at all. Steph is just money, his run with Davidson proved that. Durant = former MVP. When all goes cold the only man who can attempt a solid shot in the paint is Durant. Klay, Steph and draymond aren't great drivers with curry being the best of them. Klay can't move at all with the ball in his hand and draymond is a tank, but not in a good way.

Ha ha ok this thread has nothing to do with how I sleep at night. If there were more threads talking about the nuggets I'd be in there. Considering I've read this board for 7 years the amount i've replied is irrelevant. Not too mention nobody brought up the warriors till you did. But yep. Just doing me man.

Funny you should mention TO%

I already went there:

Lets see where he's at:

It's a cool website where you can find out things like: Who leads the lead in scoring? Who leads the league in PER (among players who have play at least 20 mins this season)? Who leads the league in Assist %? And even other questions who's answers aren't Russell Westbrook.

I'm sure if you poke around a little bit it will be easy to find stats and metrics that paint RWB in a bad light. That's great. I've never said he's an NBA legend or even the best player on the planet right now. I just can't help but call out BS when I see it and can refute it with facts.

On a side note, your whole comparison with the other top 10 guys argument is just trying to poke holes in an argument that I never even tried to make. I never said that Westbrook belongs in the same category as the greats like Magic, Stockton and Malone; I was just using it to illustrate the point that looking at raw turnover numbers is not a good indicator of how bad someone is with the ball. So if you can refute that, I.E. prove that guys like Magic and Stockton were actually not that good because of all the turnovers, please enlighten me. I'd be very surprised.

Wow. 105th! How ironic.

By your logic, that must mean his TO% is pretty good.

Seriously (no sarcasm) if there's no nuggets thread start one maybe? You never know there might other fans who'd like to discuss them

Well at least I appreciate your effort at being impartial.

Dubs are a hell of a team and a juggernaut, there's no denying that. I just can't understand why we can't all just appreciate multiple superstars from different teams and what they're doing this year. Durant and Harden are both amazing. As well as Lebron.

Perhaps I'm just so detached from having tunnel vision on my home team...I just like watching exciting players perform at transcendent levels. Even the best players have their weaknesses and faults. Well...let me rephrase that...except for Michael Jordan.
