I'm sure a bunch of them will be online soon; on E-bay.

They are alive and not streaky.
But what I hate about Topps is that they always tweet the hot Topps Now cards like they were available for so cheap or something.

Is that a bad top edge on the purple? Or just glare?

Not sure if I jumped on them too soon, but just got a pair for $39.99 on eBay. I'm a Cubs fan building a PC though, so not looking to flip. Seemed reasonable enough price for what's an unknown print run.

Keep in mind that Topps announced new cards for next week. Maybe we will see these available to the public.

They say Cubs Convention Exclusive, so I doubt that will be the case. I am hoping for a cool White House visit card though!

I bought a pair as well. Figured better to get them now. Even if I overpaid it's worth knowing they are coming my way.

The eBay listing I purchased from suggests they were provided exclusively to season ticket holders at the Cubs Convention. I'm skeptical on that, but would be cool if true.

It seems like that's true. When I walked past the regular check in lines, I didn't see any of the boxes of cards. There were two boxes at the STH check in and they gave us one of each card when we checked in.

But how many people who don't collect cards will even know they could sell these? They may think they are just business cards and toss them in a purse... back pocket and never to be seen on eBay. Also... how many will be sold by people who have no clue on how to ship a sports card. PWE... damaged edges/corners. Might be a few lucky sellers who find them just laying around... so 1 seller might sell 20 sets over the weekend. I bought 2 Kris Bryants cuz that's the only card I wanted... I'm sure I overpaid... but didn't wanna risk losing out.

Very good points. I'm sure high grades will be low POP

Was just talking to a bunch of people in the STH lounge. Not everyone got them even as STH. They ran out at some point so there might be fewer than we think. Glad I got here early yesterday.

Completely agree. I don't like this at all and find it highly annoying. If Topps wants to give some cards out for free at events, that's great, but don't give out "Now" cards at exclusive events where the whole concept is having a 24 hour window of availability. I have a complete Cubs set so I felt compelled to buy these two to maintain my complete set. Ended up getting the pair for $50 (after having best offers of $70 and $80 declined by sellers...haha) but I was disappointed for not having 24 hours to buy a non auto, non relic directly from Topps as the program is intended for.

Guy up now didn't take $40 and wants $120. I'll pass. They are advertising anyway so I'm not really needing them in my set. They did the same at COMICON with the Preacher cards...I was a little miffed by it but after a month or so you could get them cheap. I'll add them if the price comes down....though I'm not certain it will. Most fans will keep them...think the #57, these cards will hold their value, most likely.

Take away your bids ($6000 BIN) and the other guys bids ($10000 BIN/BO) and where would the card be?

From what I can see... this seller hasn't sold a sports card... how will they ship? PWE? Will they know to put the card in a penny sleeve... put that in a toploader... secure it in a team bag and ship in a bubble mailer?

Maybe they have and the cards will arrive in great condition. It is risky.

Sold one set at the Convention. No one else I asked about them had any idea what I was talking about. So either they got them and just thought they were coupons and threw them in their bags with every other coupon we got, or they didn't get them. I had penny sleeves with me (because I always do, it's a sickness) so I'm thankful for that. Keeping one and will eventually sell or trade the other. Not in any rush and interested to see where they settle. I didn't know about the Comicon cards at all so that was interesting - thanks for sharing it!

You can already see one of the cards posted on ebay is damaged. I don't think the seller is aware. But that already looks like a "return to seller" to whoever buys it.
