I pulled a Kris Bryant 21/25 from the TOPPS now Autographed edition World series set . . . anyone can give me a clue of how much that would be worth at the current market?

I ordered 3 autograph sets. One was purchased the first day, one was purchased the 3rd or 4th day, and one was purchased in the final minute just before it closed.

I received 1 set, but I am still waiting on the other two. The one I received had an unnumbered Addison Russell auto. So buying the first day did not equal a parallel for me. However, the Russell auto has the blue parallel coloring, so blue does not equal #/99 in this case. Not sure how it is with other players, or if other unnumbered versions are colored as well.

I will update when I receive the other two sets. Really hoping for a Bryant.

Was searching Topps Now Kris Bryant and saw this auction...

2016 Topps Now KRIS BRYANT #370 D GAME USED BASE RELIC #16 Of 25 Chicago Cubs | eBay

This was sold for $300 by topps and 4 months later it sold for $100. Granted it was just a week before Christmas... so money might have been a little tight... but only 1 bid?? Is this a sign of things to come for all these random game specific relics.

Did a little more digging... this sold Nov 13th..

This is the first I've seen anyone mention a Bryzzo shipping. Anyone else get tracking?

I am more than happy. Don't think I could have been any happier if it was the Cubs logo.

That, my friend, is one sweet piece of Cubs history! Just an awesome card! I'm really kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on a /10 Bryzzo when I had the chance. Settled for a /99 but after seeing a few of the /10 relics these are looking like they were the way to go. Interesting how the /10's get much better relic pieces than the /1's do.

I agree the 10's and 25's sometimes have very nice pieces to me preferable to the base parts.

I have a very nice 25 as well. But not this good!

This comment was specifically for the Topps Now WS set signature. Listing prices are starting to come down now - looks like $399.99 + shipping nows lowest price. They started with ridiculous listing though, but I don't think any sold. Many haven't hit the recipients uey either, so supply is still more restricted. Also, unclear if there's a /199 parallel for Bryant - I haven't seen any.

It doesn't mean they have shipped the whole order. I've had two where they shipped a partial order. You get part of the order and a generic letter saying other auto / relic cards will come later. And the website Order won't ever reflect.

There's been plenty of complaints on this forum about their process / the experience.

I have mine priced high personally because I don't mind if it doesn't sell. You will always have sellers who get nervous and believe they have to undercut everyone else. These cards could not be ordered intentionally by the flippers so nobody has quantity on them. I would guess that may of the top tier names will stay in personal collections.

Question: Does anyone think they must have changed their minds towards the end, about issuing parallels, when they realized there were more parallels than sets bought?

If they kept all the important colored auto's, you get something like this:
1/1 x 8 different players = 8 cards
/10 x 8 different players = 80 cards
/25 x 8 different players = 200 cards
/49 x 8 different players = 400 cards
/99 x 8 different players = 800 cards
-------------------------------------------
Total so far = 1,488 cards that are /numbered and parallel.

now the /199....

if they did:
/199 x 8 different players =1,600

that would mean 1,600 that are /199 plus the 1,488 above, well that equals 3,088 parallel cards...and only 2,581 were sold. That obviously doesn't work.


so....what if Fred and Topps Now decided to limit the green /199 parallels to /99 or half...meaning they only issued 100 of the 200 green /199 parallel out to people.

The numbers then look like this

/199 x 8 x 1/2 = 800....so

1488 (all other colors) + 800 (green parallels, but only 1/2) = 2,288.

Now 2,288 cards that are parallel works with the number of cards that were sold.

2581 (total actually sold)
less 2,288 (adjusted green parallels by half)
----------------------------------------------------
equals = 293 left over


293 (cards left over) / 8 different players = 37 cards per player that need to be unnumbered, with no serial number and no color parallel. Just plain autos.

In conclusion:

1/1 red = 1 made per player
/10 gold = 10 made per player
/25 red = 25 made per player
/49 purple = 50 made per player
/99 blue = 100 blue made per player
/199 green = 100 green made per player
non #, reg = 37 made per player.

They said that certain players would be 1:5 and others would be 1:10 sets. I'm guessing the parallels were not created equal.

Based on what has been posted here or on eBay ...

Bryant (1:10 odds): Non-parallel (no color), /99 (blue), /49 (purple), /25 (red), /10 (gold), /1 (red)

Rizzo (1:10 odds):

Russell (1:10 odds): Non-parallel (no color), /99 (blue), /25 (red),

Almora (1:10 odds): /199 (green),

Baez (1:5 odds): /199 (green), /99 (blue), /49 (purple)

Contreras (1:5 odds): /49 (purple), /10 (gold),

Schwarber (1:5 odds): /199 (green), /49 (purple)

Heyward (1:5 odds): /199 (green), /99 (blue)

So, at least three of the four with 1:5 odds have /199 parallels and no non-parallels seen yet.

Only /199 parallel seen from the 1:10 group is Almora. Only non-parallels seen from Bryant and Russell.
