I think what Westbrook needs is a SG that complements his game better - good shooter, decent one-on-one player, lower usage than him. Someone like CJ McCollum would be perfect playing next to him.
Sabonis definitely has future potential, but right now he is just as unpolished as can be and cannot be trusted. Thus why his minutes are so limited as they try to get him acclimated to the NBA pace and physicality (he still gets bullied down low, so he camps deep a lot).

Adams is...well, Adams. Can't ask much from a banger like him who has no game outside of 5 feet. So getting 15-20 from him a night is always a plus. But he is certainly no Whiteside or even Brolo whose offensive game commands the defenses attention.

It's just really bad outside of Westbrook...I agree he needs a solid offensive complementary player just like McCollum. I don't know if Ola can be that guy who you can count on to drop 20+ on a consistent basis. He's showed glimpses, but he can't keep it together for decent stretches and finds himself in a cold zone for games on end.

Look at all the playoff calliber teams out there and compare the rosters. You'll definitely find that the Thunder are amongst the bottom of the list in terms of true talent 1-5.

Losing a guaranteed 27ppg+ scorer is kind of a big deal when your team scores 100 a night...and I certainly doubt this team would be faring any better if Durant stayed and Westbrook was the one that left.

i actually think the team would do better if durant was on the team. i think the spacing that durant creates with his shooting ability (off the ball) gives an open lane, allows kanter to post more often and then they can drive and kick as a team.

seabass - the chorus needs to be "please, oh please, can i get an amen. aaaamen for some help..."

This team is in a whole lot of trouble if Ola can't stay healthy this year. Unfortunately Westbrook doesn't have the god given quality jumpshot of an MJ...so teams will continue to essentially stack the box and force him into contested looks at the rim.

It is what it is.
Exactly a lot of people in here are smoking that good stuff or they don't know basketball either of the 2.

Obviously they would be better with KD lol what are you saying. They would of made the finals last year if he did not shoot 10-30 in game 6 and choke in game 7. Then go off and leave like a fairy. Still can't believe he did that any championship he wins means nothing.

As soon as Oladipo went down I'd have been starting Morrow - perfect for RW who drives a lot - and look how well they're doing today! Double-digit assists before halftime!

Westbrook definitely cheats on D though - he hangs around at the key, sometimes yards away from his man. Luckily he missed the three, and they're up by double figures, but I hope he doesn't do that in close games.

Looking pretty good without Oladipo still. Probably worked on things with the current players during the time off.

Nice a triple double with 20 assists...only 4th time in league history that someone's had a triple double with 20+ Points and 20 assists

I doubt it man....they'll nitpick something..."it was only phoenix" "it's an outlier"...something..and then pounce on the next bad game..because Westbrook is the only one in the league who can never have a bad game seems like.

1/3 way through the season and WB has recorded two of the most notable 3-Ds in NBA history.

That drive and dish to Adams in the 4th at 2:34 was spectacular.

A new career high and Thunder record 22 dimes. Too bad he missed out on 9 boards. A 20-20-20 game would be awesome.
