Long time lurker, new poster. I'm a diehard Cubs fan who used to collect cards with my grandpa. He collected Mark Grace and team sets, while I was into Ryne Sandberg. He passed away in 2009 having never seen the Cubs win it all (though he did see them in the World Series).

I inherited back the card collection, but hadn't done much with it. The excitement of this summer got me back into it as I worked on filling out the team sets. I really liked the Topps Now concept and just finished assembling the regular season set. I've got a handful of autos from playoffs and World Series to fill in (my wallet couldn't handle the onslaught all at once and it never occurred to me to buy extras and flip), but hope to complete it eventually.

I was disappointed at the lack of variation in the relics (all bases) and the lack of autos from the great pitching staff (zero), but overall it was great. Looking forward to next year!

Welcome to the group. Glad to have you.

Mark Grace was pretty sweet!

WWE PRs were surprisingly high.
37 AJ Styles 4th 122
38 Alexa Bliss 180
39 The Miz 4th 82
40 Nikki Bella 2nd 93
41 Baron Corbin 91
42 Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton 2nd 115

I think this set has potential but if we are going to see the same crew every week it's going to be very tiring and just like Panini Football.

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks this about Panini Football...seriously how many Elliott and Prescott's are they going to make?

Cowboys are a cash cow.... same with Raiders. Panini Instant would be dead without Dak and Zeke. Topps has a way bigger following... and team collectors like buying cards.... football is WAY different. Panini NEEDED the Cowboys to make PI work.

Missing Topps Now a lot and figured it was a good time to just kick the wheels.

Anyone needs some holiday $$$$$$$ for an Ichiro /10 auto? As expected, I'm still on the hunt.

One per week unless they put them on the same card?

Three more packages today with three letters, so nothing new not already reported.

On the bright side, they had sent the missing base cards I mentioned yesterday separately. I would not have expected base cards from the same day in two separate shipments but now caught up on them.

Welcome aboard. I think the bases are very unique. They are game used from the bases on that exact day and game. Not just some random relic.

I was surprised at that too. Maybe they are waiting for the press conference introducing him as a Red Sock for the card?

There is definitely no shortage of Bryant auto cards from the NLCS and WS available on eBay. I'm interested to see how these hold their value being as there are so many Bryant auto items from the postseason.

I've scanned all of them. Enjoy.

Did these automatically come with the team sets? I got the Indians team set but no bonus cards.

If you bought the Indians team set from Topps.com directly, then they should be sending the bonus cards, not at the same time as the team set was shipped but sometime later after Indians won each playoff series.
Some people might receive the cards earlier than others though.

Hmm. I ordered my team set in the same order as the Lindor relic/auto so I just got my team set the other day, haven't received any bonus cards. I'll have to send them a message and see what's going on.

You sound a lot like me. Loved the Sandberg/Grace/Dawson Cubs growing up. I'm currently working to collect the entire base set of Cubs Topps Now cards as well, although I am still about 30 cards away from completion.

I called yesterday to see if I could change the shipping method (I was told I cannot) on my Bryant/Rizzo Auto Relic dual card I was told it was scheduled to ship out around 12/29.

Also, I was told the Schwarber was scheduled to ship next week.

Here is my Lindor/Kluber (smart post, received yesterday)
