I have no issue with pardons as I believe everyone deserves a second under normal circumstances. What I have an issue with is 42 of the 98 most recent pardons were felons serving life sentences. You pardon sentences of people in the system for minor drug charges or petty theft not murderers and sexual predators with life sentences.

All told, Obama has cut short sentences for 872 inmates, including 688 this year. The figure is higher than the number commuted by the previous 11 presidents combined, and the White House said more commutations were coming before Obama leaves office in January. Of the latest batch, 42 had been serving life sentences, the White House said.

For the life of me I just cannot understand how anyone can ignore everything that's come out in regards to Hillary, the DNC, the DOJ, and the media.
It's mind boggling how anyone in their right mind could vote for such a corrupt candidate.
I'm quite sure I have facebook friends who are getting sick of my posts but I don't care.
If the media won't tell the truth, we have to.

Spread the word. You never know what will stick. I created a twitter account for this election last month and it had like 60 followers as of today. Made a tweet about the corrupt FBI/DOJ with no hashtags and it has gotten 125,000+ Impressions and 5,000 retweets/likes today. Never had anything go above 700 impressions before with this account.

Statements that Obama has pardoned more than any other president, even recent presidents, are false.

He has issued clemency for a record number of prisoners who have completed GED or vocational skills programs or successfully completed substance abuse programs - but one would have to be predisposed to a certain viewpoint to automatically assume this is a negative development.

In a bit of good news, it looks like we will could possibly have a third party candidate finish with more than 5% of the popular vote. Johnson seems to be polling between 6-8% nationally.

With a bit of luck, maybe we'll either have a new voice in 2020 or perhaps at least the parties will adjust during that time and respond to voter frustration.

Yes, and he stated over 4,000 pardons have been given since then, but you reference less than 1,500 (because they were talking about clemency as well).

Which is why Barack Obama has pardoned more than anyone. You're holding onto a technical definition that nobody in this thread was talking about.
