I'd say you're right. I actually think Clinton may have won the debate. You're right it doesn't help him. I'm still voting for Trump

It would have been refreshing to hear Trump sounds rehearsed....

He gets too worked up at times. Which is understandable standing next to and having to listen to Hillary. He doesn't understand that at times, silence is more effective than speaking

Someone should tell Trump Obama has a much higher favorability rating than him.

Trump ended his debate by tying his opponent to the President with I believe as of today the 5th highest approval rating ever of a President leaving office.

A clear and concise Clinton victory. I think debates 1 and 3 she clearly was better, and #2 was a wash. Trump is not good at standing at a podium and talking one on one debating w/ someone; I mean, he can hit you with a good strong uppercut, but them gets his feet tangled in the ropes the rest of the time.

Debate performance for him against Clinton in totality, simply was not strong.

Thank god the debates are over, now we can move on to the important task of electing one of these candidates to ruin the country

Well that's smart, and something he needs to do more of. Clinton = Obama, and while he has favorable numbers it's easy to pick apart his record (or lack thereof). His campaign is built around change, so if he can't tie his competitor to the same political line; he'll have no chance.

Not a good debater.
Still a better choice than Hillary though.

Now we just have to hope there is a devastating Clinton event that even CNN can't ignore.

Because the brain washed people are going to vote her in. No doubt in my mind she wins if nothing drastic happens to her campaign.

True in a way I guess, never thought of it in that light. Still think it just plays to the base he already has and no one "undecided"

Debate was fairly even with a lot of the same answers. Not even close to good enough for Trump. His campaigns inability to understand the need to appeal to female voters is unbelievable..... Big league.

Appeal to the female voter? Why would they do that? They only make up 52% of the voting population....

One phrase will be remembered from tonight - "such a nasty woman" and it seals Trump's fate

I think you summed this up pretty well here.

The GOP as a whole has to be slamming their head against a wall right now. It is really unacceptable that they lose this election - Romney would have destroyed Clinton in this election.

Shoot, if Trump would have gone to the moon directly after the RNC and never said a word he would be in better shape than he is right now.

Thing is, I don't have a horse in this race....i dont care for either of them but the only thing Donald has going for him is shock value and witty comebacks. He's done nothing but lie since the first debate yet hes never called out on it. I can't even believe people hear what he says and take his word for it....hes a bulls#@t artist and he just finished painting his masterpiece

Hell, Trump could have swamped her had he just shut the hell up SOMETIMES.

He never got out of his own way. When he would have her on the ropes, he would say some outrageous stuff and then the 24/7 coverage would bury him.

I promise everyone voting for Clinton that they will regret their vote in 3 years because on actual policy he blows her away on the issues voters are most concerned about.

He lost the personality vote. This was an election based on who is the worst PERSON. And it's a shame because all of us are about to lose big time.

a draw? i guess many here did not study forensics. i've seen some people lose debates before, but in all my days, i don't think i've seen someone rhetorically get their skull smashed in as badly as trump did tonight.

the MSM is talking about what a good first 30 minutes trump had and then, well...
i don't know the precise timing, but when she went after him about his love affair with putin, trump just flipped the f out and never really came back to being someone even remotely presidential.

270 minutes of debate and the main question i have is, does trump know anything about anything? assuming an even split of time, if you distill down trump's 135 minutes, i wonder if you could get even 3 minutes of real knowledge and substance out of the man.

and then wallace blindsided them at the end for a closing statement. and like a rookie, trump was clearly vamping while hillary looked like she recited a prepared statement like the kind of pro you'd want in the white house: someone prepared for an obvious contingency.

wallace did the best job of anybody moderating by far.
