Why are we being fed Bill Clinton articles by a member or two? Did we ever call him a moral paragon?

It's the Trumptanic that's sinkin' !

He was pretty spot on during the 2012 election. It's interesting to watch the swings in the polls and in this race. Coming out of the election is was a coin flip - 50/50 as to who could/would win. Clinton built a lead when Donald starting talking over the coming weeks (where any other candidate probably could have built a sizable lead against her) but The D closed the gap leading into the debate, then the debate happened and it the lead grew again.

Current polls and forecasts have not yet taken into account what has transpired over the last 24 hours but it's safe to assume this news can't help Trump. Should make for an interesting debate tomorrow night though. I fully expect swearing, hair pulling and literal poo fights.
Silver hasn't been right in years and weighs his numbers on 2008 number.

RNC halts Victory project work for Trump - POLITICO

This is unprecedented... and historical, like anything with the Donald.

RNC halts Victory project work for Trump

POLITICO obtains email sent to vendors to ‘hold/stop’ all mail program efforts.

By ALEX ISENSTADT 10/08/16 02:27 PM EDT

The Republican National Committee on Saturday appeared to at least temporarily halt the operations of some of the “Victory” program that is devoted to electing Donald Trump.

The move comes as the GOP nominee is under mounting pressure from elected Republicans to step aside after he was caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women.

In an email from the RNC to a victory program mail vendor, with the subject line “Hold on all projects,” the committee asked the vendor to “put a hold” on mail production.

“Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is in production or print it needs to stop. Will update you when to proceed,” Lauren Toomey, a staffer in the RNC’s political department, wrote in an email that was obtained by POLITICO.

The email was sent to at least one RNC victory program vendor. Rick Wiley, a top RNC official, was cc’d on the email.

Neither Toomey nor Wiley responded to requests for comment. An RNC spokesperson also didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Yeah - 50/51 in 2008 and 51/51 in 2012

But don't let facts sway your argument

Republican voters in general really shouldn't even be that concerned with this November's results. It's the next 12-16 years that they have to worry about. Trump just set your party back a decade or two.

I'd have to think Paul Ryan the Golden Boy stands a great chance of beating Hills in 2020 if he runs, esp. if she mucks up her term.

He is basically the one thing holding back the pubs from oblivion.

I don't know. I think Hillary really has to do some terrible stuff for that to happen. Like way out of left field stuff like an iran-contraesque scandal while leaving the economy in shambles.

I see what Bush Jr. did for his party's legacy, which essentially locked in an 8 year stent for Obama. I can see the same here. Amazingly, in retrospect, Dubbya wasn't even a fraction as bad as Trump in terms of his brazen views. Ironic seeing even Bush himself views Trump the same and refuses to endorse him.

I might have to start posting articles about Hillary from The Sun, National Enquirer, and The Globe. Pretty sure I saw some things about her last time I was standing in the grocery store check out line.

It's mind boggling that Trump is persecuted for saying misogynistic comments as a businessman way more then the atrocities Hillary has committed as a politician. Do people think that she is gonna miraculously change her ways if she is POTUS?

It's because he continues to make the same mistakes and utter the same comments showing basically no growth at a basic human level. Which leads many to question if he really cares about anything including the nations children and youth so much as he cares about solely protecting the '3 percenters' with his financial assets and valuation in his final years on this earth. He is a businessman through and through, and a great one at that, but other than that there is nothing credible about his character or ability to have compassion for his fellow americans. Any other moderately competent Republican candidate would have already had a cakewalk by now, imo.

1. You need a dictionary.

2. Sac up, take your penalty stroke, and accept responsibility for your parties' open sewer of a candidate.

Why would you expect anyone to do that when you won't do it for yours? They are both pieces of crap, find a mirror.

You make our political choices sound so good.

Thanks for the political honesty. Such a rare trait these days.

I'm not a member of a political party, nor have I endorsed either candidate.

Tough break, skeetch.

Neither have I, so why so one sided? Or do you just choose to ignore the Dem piece of crap because you have a hard on for Trump?

Well many high ranking GOP members have today including his running mate. The only one that hasn't fully accepted responsibility is Trump. Even in his apology he said "well Bill (who isn't running) is worse than me".

What a joke.
