It's not just his words, it's the fact that with the way he says them, it comes off like he has done it before. He is saying that with power and fame, comes the ability to assault women.

Faux outrage, I've had conversations with woman in the Army who have said worse then that. i read that a few days ago and it makes sense. most of my HS friends that are still in or around home are huge Trump supporters (or staunch conservatives in general). I grew up in a relatively nice suburb of Cleveland, but moved 4-5 hours away for college and never came back. i consider myself pretty left now.

anecdotal, but in 2002 when I did my first political alignment quiz (right before i left for college) I was considered right-center. Now i'm solidly in the left going on 15 years later. Part of that is i think the general shift of the goalposts towards the right in general where I stayed put in most of my values, but others I definitely adopted more left-leaning stances.

Hillary is a criminal, and how ever many years ago (I wrote that) Christian RW influence in the (R) party was overwhelming. Can you all tell me which is worse, Trump making crude comments or Hillary defending someone she knew was guilty of raping a 12 year old girl? Her defense is it was her job and professional responsibility to defend him to the best of her ability. "It was my job" is not a defense for morally corrupt behavior. I know if I was asked to defend him and put that 12 year old through more hell, I'd just quit and find a new line of work.

Nate Silver and 538 is one of the only "news" outlets that I fully trust to deliver accurate and objective information. He's an economist so it's all numbers based.

He was pretty spot on during the 2012 election. It's interesting to watch the swings in the polls and in this race. Coming out of the election is was a coin flip - 50/50 as to who could/would win. Clinton built a lead when Donald starting talking over the coming weeks (where any other candidate probably could have built a sizable lead against her) but The D closed the gap leading into the debate, then the debate happened and it the lead grew again.

Current polls and forecasts have not yet taken into account what has transpired over the last 24 hours but it's safe to assume this news can't help Trump. Should make for an interesting debate tomorrow night though. I fully expect swearing, hair pulling and literal poo fights.

Havent read the details, and wouldnt wipe my arse on the Daily Mail, but this happens literally every day. Lawyers defend the indefensible all the time, even when they're aware of, or at least suspect, their client's guilt. She WAS doing her job.
