Based on your recommendation, I've just stuck a massive $2.50 on Paul Ryan at 150/1. You'd better be right!

MUST. WATCH. HANNITY.

That will be HILARIOUS. How can you defend this stuff? It's amazing how morally low people will go. The worst candidate EVER. And the Republicans can ONLY blame themselves for being in this position. Though Im sure they will blame Obama and the media somehow.

I honestly don't know: would any replacement candidate (e.g., Paul Ryan? Kasich? Re-Romney?) have a better chance at this point than Trump?

The rules state only Pence can be the choice at this stage of the game.
Edit: this is wrong info which I heard from cnn late last nite. I posted the rules a couple of posts down.

Moving on...

One excerpt put Clinton squarely in the free-trade camp, a position she has retreated on significantly during the 2016 election. In a talk to a Brazilian bank in 2013, she said her "dream" is "a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders" and asked her audience to think of what doubling American trade with Latin America "would mean for everybody in this room."

So she is LYING to Americans today.

Any other opposition and Hills would be a goner.

As it stands, no one cares of the wikileaks, more of the same.

Its a UK site, not accessible from the US. It IS accessible from Canada though, so you could move there now instead of waiting for Hillary to get elected!

The question is, after Pence defended Trump, how could he now basically wash his hands of him? What would the repercussions be if he does? It's a lose lose for the GOP and the voters can only blame themselves for nominating him in the first place.

This is happens when you listen to cnn.
Here's the rule if he steps down.
Rule No. 9: Filling Vacancies in Nominations

(a) The Republican National Committee is hereby authorized and empowered to fill any and all vacancies which may occur by reason of death, declination or otherwise of the Republican candidate for president of the United States or the Republican candidate for vice president of the United States, as nominated by the national convention, or the Republican National Committee may reconvene the national convention for the purpose of filling any such vacancies.

(b) In voting under this rule, the Republican National Committee members representing any state shall be entitled to cast the same number of votes as said state was entitled to cast at the national convention.

(c) In the event that the members of the Republican National Committee from any state shall not be in agreement in the casting of votes hereunder, the votes of such state shall be divided equally, including fractional votes, among the members of the Republican National Committee present or voting by proxy.

(d) No candidate shall be chosen to fill any such vacancy except upon receiving a majority of the votes entitled to be cast in the election.

There's not enough time to get this done, there's already early voting in some states. They would need time to change the ballots.

Fox News just had an interview with a Trump supporter (male) and a Clinton supporter (female). The Clinton supporter started to openly weep on air over the comments Trump made. I can't even imagine how a woman who has suffered sexual harassment or sexual assault feels knowing that this man might reach the Oval Office.

Once again, the GOP base played with fire with Trump. They fell for the wall, the law and order, the bravado, all of it. Your stuck with him now. When he looses, you have nobody to blame but yourselves (those who voted for him). You should have known better, you didn't. Now, shut up for the next four years. You had your chance and you blew it.

The problem for us as Americans is that the "stupid emails" show she broke laws. Are we really going to be in a position of strength as a country if we elect a President who has to fade indictments and legitimate criminal complaints as she goes into office?

I can't believe any woman who has suffered rape would vote for a rape apologist and someone who enables her husband to be serial filanderer

The average american voting for her does not understand the true scope of what she has done. They don't understand the trade market or budgets. They don't understand how business and taxes work. They will not see any news on wikileaks because it will not be shown outside of Foxnews or other less visible outlets.

Access Hollywood sat on this clip up until this point to make it worth more to the highest bidder and now the media has exploited it. To think Hillary has not made damning remarks behind closed doors is ignorant. She defended her husband. Donald just happened to get caught on a hot mic.

Her husband cheating on her with consensual partners makes her a rape apologist? So confusing.

You might want to become better educated on the Bill Clinton subject and all of the details that were brought up by the women.

The very fact that anyone would defend either of these candidates is bad and they should feel bad.

I am not going to justify the actions of someone being "less worse" than the other guy. The very fact that people here have to and are doing that is just ridiculous.

Trump is an awful person. Clinton is an awful person.

Neither should be defended. They don't care about you and the only reason you should care about them is they are going to be running YOUR country for the next 4 years... minimum.

This whole election makes me sick and so does a lot of BS in this thread.

i like kasich more than trump, but don't think he is that great overall. it was just a lot of poor candidates to choose from this year. no one likes scott walker, carly, rubio, ted cruz that much. i'd pick trump over those guys if i had to choose. i always thought romney would be the strongest contender if he entered.

So now Pence has even come out and said that what Trump said is horrible and offensive. The VP candidate is against it but the people here are saying no big deal.

Trump had his opportunity last night to apologize and take ownership of what he said. Instead he basically said "I'm sorry but Bill was way worse". That is not a President. The stuff here BLOWS MY MIND.
