Even as a huge Obama fan, I have to admit that 500 seems like a pretty small sample size for such a broad claim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ah, I guess I should read the link before conceding the point. If that's the case: a very meaningful sample size! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you click on the article from Gallup you can read the methods. You can also read the methods on the 2nd article you posted on how Gallup polls for the Well-Being Index. ![]() Above is a pretty screenshot from the article you are referencing. It says nothing about 548 polled from January 2nd-July 31st. Quite the contrary, it states approximately 105,000 were polled in the first 7 months. There's no need to double-down on your claims, they're bunk. Last edited by GeechQuest; 08-31-2016 at 05:45 PM. |

I definitely do not agree with everything in the song, but it is catchy

John Kerry Suggests Media Cover Terrorism Less : snopes.com I assume this is what you're referring to, he's not in the news for anything else.[/QUOTE Partially; however, the report just got me thinking of the things he's said over the years. Already read the transcripts posted on different sites of the context of what he said. Certainly you'll agree he's been saying idiotic things dating back to the mid 70's. Just a FYI take what gets posted on Snopes with a grain of salt, just as you would any media site. There are many negative reports about Snopes and how they report. The list is long of all the absurd things this guy says. He just says some flat out creepy stuff. Last edited by CoolG; 08-31-2016 at 08:20 PM. |

Elsewhere. I'd post examples in the event your memory really is that short or just selective, but I wouldn't want to just do the work and give it to you, since I know you don't like that. Also, I do not have a "messiah" that I know of. What is that, like a massage therapist? (This is 'Murica, dagnabbiit, speak English!) Quote:
I personally did not at all consider McCain's health (not talk or blog about it) before voting for Obama in 2008, only that McCain was the standard bearer of a party increasingly out of touch with the American people. Even so, I did not doubt that McCain was at least capable of governing. To underscore that downward trajectory and put an exclamation point after it, a mere 8 years later, the GOP has nominated for President someone even less qualified to be President than Sarah Palin was to be Vice President. If you're still hot under the collar about insults, talk to CrownCollector who actually does use the grade-school variety and thinks it is within the realm of adult conversation to refer to Hillary Clinton as a "lying b***h traitor". Enjoy knowing that guy is on your side. I certainly do, because I'd have to rethink an awful lot of what I know were he on mine. (Pretty hard to tell if you're on the right side, sometimes, but very easy to tell when someone is on the wrong side.) Finally, a serious answer to your question: Obviously, Hillary has flaws, and plenty of them. I have made posts here that refer to some of them. Use your newfound diligence to find them, if you are so inclined. Trump, however, is composed almost entirely of flaws (lack of an even rudimentary knowledge of world affairs, a poor vocabulary, an inability to stay focused on one issue at a time, a seeming compulsion to put his foot in his mouth) and his physical health is the least of them. The point: were questioning Trump's health our best shot at getting Hillary elected, I wouldn't even bother. She'd be on her own where I was concerned. Happily, we stand on actual issues and will continue to. In the meantime, poorly educated Trump voters (the ones he mentioned specifically as being that, so his insult if you take it that way, not mine) will continue thinking they can diagnose Hillary's slew of complex medical difficulties by looking at internet GIFs, and that'll somehow turn the tide. It won't. Come election day, I don't think people with something, anything, to lose, will be able to pull the lever for Trump, even with strong misgivings regarding Hillary's trustworthiness. I will give you this: If there are more people with nothing to lose than not in this country, then it would be time for a change, that change would come, and being a patriot, I'd be first to wish President Trump good luck and do what I could to help, same way I supported George W. Bush in the early days of what turned out to be an 8 year long disaster movie.. In the mean-time, I'll wish that same luck to Trump supporters with their current game-plan comprised of nothing but launching one Hail Mary pass after another, since I'm fairly certain they will continue to fall harmlessly to the ground. Hillary CAN be defeated. Obama showed how in 2008. The GOP should've ran a real candidate to make an honest attempt to do it. Unfortunately for them, none tried out, so Trump it is.

I will say, for a guy who doesn't usually provide substance, there was substance to his speech just now.
In his usual tone; but I actually spent a lot of time looking things up to which I had no knowledge of before (rather than smiling or laughing at the content). Some interesting proposals, and with the substance, I expect a good wave of information to the contrary, so should be a fun week!

I would just like to ask any Hillary supporter what do you like specifically about her policies?
Say all you want about Trump, we know what he plans to do... -Build a wall -Better trade deals -Immigration reform -Making it hard for companies that leave here -Heath care reform What, specifically, has Hillary proposed that you like? She is just hiding until November IMO. She seems to be just a third term of Obama. That isn't what people want. I am an independent. Voted Bush in 04 because I felt it was his responsibility to clean up the mess he started (He failed). Voted Obama in 08 "cause change" and Romney in 12 even though I was sick by both candidates. So I don't want to hear that I'm just some conservative. I am open to every single side but I have a hard time seeing an argument for Clinton. Last edited by BoxBreaker72; 08-31-2016 at 09:59 PM. |

A third term of Obama is exactly what I want. And then a fourth. Unfortunately, that is not possible. I'll vote for Hillary because she is competent, and because in order to seek reelection she will need to serve the progressive principles I believe in, starting with her Supreme Court nomination.

Many have done less than what she did and are in jail. So an argument about her being competent doesn't fly. Shes actually shown herself to be the exact opposite. If you want to say you think she will be "progressive" and move the country further to the left till she hands it off to a real liberal in 8 years I can at least digest that even though I don't agree. |
