Have not seen a single MJ Patch auto from his playing days listed in the 10 or so days since this thread was created. Does anyone have any info about MJ Patch Auto's from 2001-02 and 2002-03? Does anyone know how I could quickly figure it out?

Well, for those of you that care - apparently not many - I just checked the population report and I can find a grand total of two auto patches for Jordan DURING his entire career. They are each in 2002 sp game used. The single game used wizards patch auto which I posted earlier and a dual patch auto with Kobe. I believe that's it.

Clearly I'm biased because I own one, but that seems like a pretty cool fact if I'm not missing anything. That there are literally a grand total of two MJ auto patches from his playing days in existence. Nobody else thinks that's kinda cool?

That's exactly the point. I never realized that a Michael Jordan auto patch from his playing days as a bull does not exist. The only two auto patches from his playing days are wizards cards.

Exactly - but it's cool. You can still find a Wizards patch auto made during an active year for a more reasonable number and there are only two of those.

This is a jersey auto of him while he played for the Wizards, even though it also features Tiger Woods. This card use to be chased.

This was huge at the time. I didn't actually count but looking at the pop report it seemed there are about 20-Ish different MJ auto jerseys as an active player.

We already have a couple pics of the single MJ sp game used /50 auto patch... That's the only patch auto from his playing days. I scoured google images but I haven't found a pic of the Kobe /MJ dual from the same set but I did find this picture of the magic/Kobe from the same set. Pretty sweet.





I like these. Not crazy expensive like exquisite but they have something on exquisite where they are older and some of the first auto patches.

Guess I should have gone after the kwame that sold for $5 a few weeks ago!

per Beckett, here are the autos from his Bulls playing days (excluding cards like the 1996 SPx record breaker /250 and other various Upper Deck products that were not pack-pullable).

1994-95 Collector's Choice blow-ups /23 (these were inserted in boxes, along with several other autographs, but MJs were the only ones that were limited)
1996 SPx base card autograph (widely considered his first pack-pullable auto)
1996-97 SP SPx Force /100
1996-97 UD3 Court Commerative autographs
1997 SPx ProMotion Autographs /100
1997 Upper Deck Michael Jordan Championship Journals special card auto /50 (from a box set of oversized cards, 50 of which contained an MJ auto)
1997-98 SP Authentic buyback auto /55 (of 94-95 SP)
1997-98 SP Authentic Sign of the Times Stars and Rookies
1997-98 Upper Deck Game Jerseys autographed /23 (I think he was the only one that had autos in this set, right?)

After that starts 1998 products like MJx and Michael Jordan living legend where he had autos.

The only jersey card from his playing days as a Bull is the 97-98 UD Game Jersey card with the nonauto and auto /23 versions.
