Default So what's up with this South Korean seller with all the Limited Logos on eBay?

Lot of them are repeat listings too.

Current one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 3 CLR Patch Auto Kobe Bryant 50 75 BGS9 10 | eBay

"Completed" one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 3 CLR Patch Auto Kobe Bryant 50 75 BGS9 10 | eBay

Current one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 4 CLR Patch Auto Kevin Garnett 05 75 BGS7 5 1 1 | eBay

"Completed" one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 4 CLR Patch Auto Kevin Garnett 05 75 BGS7 5 1 1 | eBay

Current one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 3 CLR Patch Auto Dennis Rodman 34 75 BGS8 5 9 | eBay

"Completed" one: 2003 04 Exquisite Limited Logos 3 CLR Patch Auto Dennis Rodman 34 75 BGS8 5 9 | eBay

Anyone know who this is or what the story is behind this?

Yeah I remember someone posting about these last time. Looks like they were all shilled and not paid for.

I, and some others, just thought it was these cards going up in value. But last month I saw a P. Pierce and a D. Robinson sell in the $200 - $300 range and there's a Bird currently not selling for $550.

Seller and his mates are just trying to manipulate the price it seems.

Had a bad experience with this seller with a Limited Logos card I sold them about 6-7 years ago.

Sent the card out without tracking (my mistake) from Australia to Taiwan the very next day after they paid, and when I marked the item as shipped I immediatley got asked for the tracking number.

I sent them the receipt from the PO which I had and and because it wasnt a trackable item, I almost immediately got a notice from Paypal saying they didn't receive the item, they won the case eventually (even though I gave Paypal a copy of the receipt showing the item being sent - the item couldn't be tracked).

An expensive lesson but one I've never repeated.

x2 taiwan is the worst place to ever ship to.

got the same issue with a return on a very expensive card to arteepower

the trick this scammer used was after i opened a case for the return, he counter opened that he did not receive it and that automatically closed my return. the problem with that is it removed the tracking info i provided.

then in the messages he claims he did not receive tracking and ebay suddenly did not have a trace of it. i sent the receipt etc and because the tracking did not update after it left the USA I got screwed out of $1600 and I paid the return on top of that

avoid these taiwan sellers and buyers, even some asian sellers ship to every other country but there.

The problem now is almost every card in the market is being shilled, Mj rc's, exquisites, recent rookies, curry cards, new releases... i mean this hobby is doomed because of so many people trying to manipulate prices.

Good research & advice in here -- I normally just read and absorb the wisdom, wanted to acknowledge & say thanks, it's appreciated.

It's a giant cash grab right now for everyone (not just Asia), and a lot of the big players have significant investments to protect. Ebay just makes it that much easier for them to rinse their hands.

This story doesn't really hold up it total. If prices are 'manipulated' higher, then you should sell and take advantage of higher prices that are destined to go lower.

If your MJ card you bought for $2k is now worth $4k [but shouldn't be] just cash out, and rebuy it at $2-3k. Simple.

New releases? C'mon. Recent rookies? Lol, let me know which ones so I can sell them all.

Obviously, any one auction or small subset of auctions can be shilled. Star RCs, etc. But later prices will go to the market-clearing price.

They way to avoid getting shilled is the same as its always been: Put in a last second snipe with a price you are willing to pay. If you don't get it, no harm done. If you do, great!

I barely sell any cards and I was accused years ago by a crazy member of this and other forums for 'shilling' a NT Pippen Auto because it went for 'too much.' Hilarious, I got paid 2 days later and shipped it out.

I'm a Durant collector, I'm sure some guys think a few auctions were shilled simply because I outbid them. Or I'm part of some secret cabal. Get a grip.

I agree that a ton of people are manipulating prices. It's chasing me out of the hobby. I'm not sure what it's going to mean long term...for prices and the hobby as a whole. I'm going to wait and see.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I did purchase a Pau Gasol 2004 Limited Logo from this seller. It was a jersey numbered card (#16). It cost me $325 shipped.

The seller shipped it right out to me with no drama. This is the only experience I have with this seller.

The limitedlogosmania seller seems to always get the highest dollar for their cards in that excel sheet. They must have the nicest logo patches of all
