I can't believe they removed battery saver mode. Not sure if it was discussed in here or not, but that's a huge mistake in my book.

The egg hatching is very broken. It doesn't update half the time, and sometimes I have to walk 4+ km just to hatch a 2k egg.

I also don't understand why the higher the level, the harder the pokemon are to catch. Last night, I had a CP90 rattatta break out of 5 straight pokeballs, then run away. Something definitely wrong there.

At least the server issues are getting better.

Yea, It seems the little guys don't want to be caught. Its annoying.

As for the Battery Saver, I didn't notice but not surprised. Some people said you can "GPS Walk" with it on Battery Saver and your phone open. Essentially walking around hatching eggs with the phone on a counter/desk.

As for the Distance, I have that issue when I'm walking in Areas where there are no Wild Pokémon. But once I find a wild spot, it updates quickly.

I haven't played in a few days. Been busy preparing for my move and spending time with the fam before I'm gone. We went up to Six Flags darien lake today, but I only checked the phone once or twice. However, we stopped in Fredonia on the way home and my stepbrother starts freaking out about a pokemon. I assume its something small but I check and its a Victreebell! Super excited I click on him and what do I get? a cp 34. Bleh. Also caught an 1134 Scyther as we were leaving to head home (hatched 2 already).

Think tomorrow and a bit of Friday I'll get back on the grind a little.

Still level 24 with 116/116 on the Dex. Really need more magnimites, Omynite, Charmanders/bulbasors and sandshrews. So far away from all those evolves I need for my Dex

I spent 2 days collecting pokeballs so we could go to a new park today. My oldest used all 40 befofe we got there, lol. He didn't realize he was throwing them because of a glare on the screen. He did almost catch a new pokemon though when I went back and looked at my pokedex. We will try again next week as I have to work the next 2 days.

We did visit a park yesterday with a lot of pokestops. The park we went to today only had 2 that we could see.

Thanks, but I definitely stalled on my dex now. Most of my missing mon are evolutions of things I've seen twice or fewer. Going to have to get lucky with eggs for the candy. Only seen 1 magnemite in 2 weeks

Opened the app on a whim while waiting in the drive thru for dinner after work today, and glad I opened it! Another tauros appeared as soon as it loaded. Only a 300, but it's fun catching cool stuff like that

Last two days have been pretty good. I work near Lake Calhoun (for those of you from Minneapolis) and went there for the first time yesterday and it was loaded with Magikarp, Polywags (two that I still need a lot of candy for) and also Goldeen, Psyduck and Slowpoke which I'm just stocking candy on since I have those evolved. Caught 11 Magikarp there yesterday and went back this morning before work and caught 8 more. Also caught a Dratini, Geodude and Voltorb which were new for me.

Then hatched I hatched a few 5K eggs: Cubone, Magnemite (both new) an Abra and an Ekans which gave me enough candy for an Arbok. Should be hatching 2 more 5K and a 10K today.

85/85 on the pokedex now.

That is good to know. I'll have to head up there sometime, I don't have a ton of those guys. Have a strong golduck after evolving a psyduck, but only have caught a handful of the others

When I go down to Presque Isle, Magnemites are everywhere. I already have a Magneton because that's how many there were. They must hang out by water...for those of you looking for those guys.

Hatched a 174 Kabuto from a 10k egg today. Any experts have insight? Is this a good one to get, or should I be Eevee-angry?

I also evolved a Raticane and a Beedrill. I know I should be hoarding stardust, but should I also be hoarding common candies? The xp gained from evolving makes me want to do it more and more often.

I'm still a lowly level nine, so I'm trying to gain any insight into the game. Thanks!

Went to a nice walking trail around a good sized lake nearby my home today and finally got a bunch of water pokemon. Had next to nothing with water types before, so was good to work on getting some. Nothing big yet, but got a bunch of candies for ones that will eventually be good (magicarp, poliwag, etc)

Kabuto is nice as he's fairly rare and does evolve into Kabutops which is vary rare. Not sure how strong it is in the game but it's still a nice hatch for the rarity of it !

I had 3 10km eggs going, finally got two hatched, first one was Kabuto, I like okay, I don't have one yet that's fine.. Second one right after was another one, I was like wtf??? But! I was lucky to have enough eggs to evolve it into Kabutops so it worked out lol.

Also pretty stoked I found a Charmander nest near my home.
