Think the PTBNL is going to be anyone worth while?

Yanks by far. They got a crap ton of talent back. Talent that isn't that far away either.

Rangers gave up quite a bit and ignored their rotation for the most part. Not that they did poorly, but I wouldn't say they did great.

Also Santiago is only on a 1 year contract. He comes off the books after this year! This day just keeps getting better and better!! No more crappy Ricky Contract! This is awesome!!

Matt Moore is an upgrade over Peavy and Cain and nice #4 if he proves he's healthy and doesn't continue to suck.

Santiago could be a decent pitcher in that pitchers park.

not sayings its gonna happen. But you dont necessarily need top pitching from 1-4 to win a champ

especially if Darvish can build upon his recent return from injury

Didn't see the Sox moving Sale or Quintana, but they couldn't find any takers for Shields or Robertson? C'mon, now.

Hamels is a true #1. Moyer and Blanton (and Kyle Kendrick) pitched incredibly.

Jon Daniels is a farking magician. If I was a MLB owner, I wouldn't even let my GM pick up the phone if Daniels was calling. Lucroy, Jeffers and Beltran for a bag of trash, wow. Surprised he didn't get Sale too in exchange for a bag of sunflower seeds.

I am glad that the Cards avoided most of this insanity. They've got too many players on rehab or on the cusp of competing to drain AAA to go chase some of who was available. Seems like there were a lot of true quality prospects that got moved for above average MLB players. Clearly elite talent was moved, but some of these moves are real head scratchers.

Congrats to the Yankees for maximizing their trades, that team will be downright nasty in a couple years or three.

Congrats to Texas and Cleveland for getting their squads patched up and ready to mash in the waning months of the season. The Giants and Dodgers also look like they did a good job in plugging some holes.

Should be a fun couple of months everyone!

so......if i am a fan of my fav major league team thats been stuck in blah mode for years, i might as well just go into the 2017 season with all relievers and no starters and then just trade them at the deadline for everyones top prospects?

jk

So did the Reds give up Bruce for just Dilson Herrera?

Bruce has been my favorite player for years and the only reason I'm a Reds fan. He's been a Red his entire career and if they traded him for Herrera and that was all they got in return, I will cry myself to sleep tonight.

Didn't really see him moving either. Wasn't a lot of talk about Frazier moving, at least from what I heard. There was a huge market for RP's though, would have been great to cash in on that. They had the pieces to move, just never did.

Fully expect him too, but I fully expect this little streak he's on to end before he clears waivers.

I wonder what the market would of been for Frazier. He's basically Gallo but older. HR or strike out.
