No, I never asked for pictures of the damage and he never sent any to me. In hindsight, it would have been a good idea for me to ask him for pictures, but I wanted to please him and avoid rocking the boat, so I gave him a refund for both lots anyway without any evidence.

As far as I know, ChiSox3706 and whitesoxcollection/Chicuse/OzziesTranslator aren't related or the same person, but I really don't have any evidence to make that statement concretely.

I really have no desire to turn this thread into a troll fest or anything of the sort. I just want the negative on eBay to be removed so I can move on and wash my hands of this situation.

Thank you guys. I am not sure why Houdini is under the assumption that I am leaving information out of the thread, as I've been on this forum for long enough to know that not explaining the entire story rarely leads to a resolution or agreement.

I included every piece of relevant/pertinent information that I could to explain my side of the story. However, I will apologize for the paragraph that Houdini and a couple others quoted above. I was pretty heated when I typed that and it is something that I regret saying. I'm not trying to condone the statement I said at all, but I think anyone in my situation would have been angry. After all, I've worked hard on my eBay account for years to establish my feedback/reputation, and to have someone ruin that in an instant over a beef they had with me unrelated to the hobby is a pretty helpless and terrible feeling.

1. He has a history with the other member clearly. They went back and forth calling each other names in the past.

2. Homerun wants him banned for shady behavior and intends to send a lengthy message to the mods to do just that... but he won't as long as the other guy does what he says.

If he is shady and you actually have proof, report it. Do not try to use that as extortion to get what you want. That is petty and no one should be supporting that action.

As for what happened on eBay... I would need to see both sides and the actual messages before I had an opinion.

I was just clearing up the extortion attempt. It won't work here.

Additionally, this eBay listing PROVES that you are a non paying bidder, as you most likely bid on it to make the cards you own seem more valuable. I'm sure there are many more instances of this behavior of yours that weren't made public by the sellers, but this is available for everyone to see.

It's 100% true. I was a minor when I started dealing in cards on both here and eBay about 5 or so years ago, so my dad let me share his account so that I would be able to participate in the hobby that we both enjoy. Naturally, we have made many deals there over the years, thus building a solid reputation. At this point, I could make my own eBay account if I'd like (as I am of legal age), but my father has allowed me to continued sharing his account, as I am responsible for many, many feedback on that account. We have never scammed anyone and have had 100% feedback on both there and here for years until this incident.

I hope what I'm trying to say is clear.
