The 2nd Amendment came later.
General Welfare has been interpreted by Constitutional Scholars and at the time those writing it meant it to be enacting legislations and rules to enhance the quality of life of the individuals. I.E. Trading Laws, Bank Laws, etc

Health was seen as defense of the nation at that time not healthcare, so general welfare did not mean to heal the nation.

Side note, I think it's completely misguided to think that Roe v Wade will ever be overturned. Then again, I think it's insane to concern yourself with the actions of another that have no direct impact upon yourself.

That's the problem. What you think are scandals that you can rattle off aren't scandals at all. They are your own wishful thinking brought on by your inability to point to any of your own side's successes. You do understand that no charges being brought for any of these "scandals" by the DOJ literally indicates they were not scandals, right? Of course you don't. That makes too much sense.

Go ahead a have another cup of coffee, but maybe try the decaf.

I think it is misguided that you think it is fine with an individual taking a life before that life has a chance to make choices.

I wish we weren't such a violent species. it seems to be our to go to option when conflict arises in a lot of cases. Violence to me is the least evolved way to deal with something.
Are you sure about that? Are you telling me that a 5'5" 120 pound guy has the advantage over a 6' 180 pound woman?

Each situation is unique so I can't speak for every possible scenerio. I'd need to see them both. Plus, a 6' 180 lbs women seems light to me. The guy may still have more muscle mass overall.

I'd say he's the Jackie Robinson of politics. Solely on his own merits, he might've been just another President, maybe even a one-termer, but the blunt opposition solely for the sake of opposition he was subjected for 7+ years has provided him the springboard he needed to reveal an awful lot of people for what they were: simply awful people.
The GOP is rightly paying the price for their bad behavior now. Their nominee is a glorified carnival barker. Their party is in shambles. Perhaps what emerges after the November autopsy will become a factor in national elections again at some point, but they have a long way to go.

But the 120 pound guy has black belt and the 180 pound woman has BLM t-shirt.

I'm "fine" with it because I think it's impossible to effectively ban abortions. Abortions have been performed prior to modern medicine and current/previous laws. Banning them will not stop them. Just like banning drugs/alcohol hasn't worked. Just like banning guns doesn't work.

Whether you like it or not, individuals have a right to control their own bodies. It's desperately sad that abortions happen, but it's not the governments business either way (banning or supporting abortion). It's an individuals choice that they have to carry the rest of their existence.

Our nation is only as strong as our people are.

Now you remind me, where does the 2nd Amendment say anything about automatic weapons?

(Also, what does "TWTFIT" stand for? Type it out. What else are you doing?)

Benghazi's not a scandal I guess, illegally mishandling state secrets isn't a scandal I guess, how about all of the documented criminals who repeatedly donated to her campaigns, or how she blatantly lied about her landing in Bosnia, travelgate anyone? She's flip flopped on every single issue and gets all of her money from wall street big boys and defense contractors

You're the type of person that would vote for the devil himself if he identified as a democrat. In your eyes no matter who the person they can do no wrong as long as they identify democrat and anyone who doesn't is always and will always be wrong on every issue no matter what.

People like you are why the majority of the country is fed up with this bicameral BS.

General welfare implies the majority of citizens would benefit from such a program. I can honestly say, I don't think obamacare/nationalized healthcare would be a step up for the majority. In fact, the "Affordable" Care Act has been a significantly increased costs and decreased coverage for everyone I know.

2nd Amendment:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Arms;
1.
weapons and ammunition; armaments.

You're so misguided, the liberal establishment has pulled the wool right over your eyes.

It is nearly impossible for a regular US citizen to own an automatic weapon. I bet you look at every rifle and say "how could anyone own that super scary assault rifle!!!!!!!!"

I'm still baffled at how Hillary beat out Bernie. Seriously, I can think of maybe, MAYBE 4-5 friends that voted for her in the primaries. I can think of hundreds of folks that voted for Bernie. Hillary calls herself a progressive, but I don't see where. There are endless examples of where she's flip flopped her position to suit the blowing winds...

She beat out Bernie because she's part of the establishment. She can be bought by the highest bidder and she's got high friends in high places. None of those things describe Bernie. She had all the "behind the scenes" support
