If I had the money, I would buy another case of Leaf Pop Century as that was a really good case.

So this months COMC buy will consist of $30 of Jorge Posada cards, $30 of Derek Jeter cards, $30 of Brett Gardner cards, $5 of Yankees prospects, and $10 of set building.

Make sure to hum or sing Deep In the Heart of Texas as you pack.

Either one should be exciting. Astros have some great young players and the train while Texas is in first place.

I really wish I still got to go to conferences so I can go to games in stadiums I have never been to.

I nominate this thread as the soon to be dumpster fire of the day: http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/f...l#post11144482

Panini evidently now honors Expired Press Pass redemptions. And people wonder why Panini gets so much grief: Because they do backwards @$$ crap like fulfilling expired redemptions from defunct companies while actively crapping on THEIR customers.

Meetings and demos all day. Lots of cool new stuff out there that you don't always find out about sitting back at the command.

I used to go to the Navy/Marine Corps Microsoft conference in Redmond, DoDIIS, and UCDMO conferences annually. I also have been to Interop in Las Vegas once and the Citrix Synergy conference. Great stuff that is missed; especially since I usually took the train everywhere.

Panini sucks! If they were ever to get the baseball license from Topps, I would never buy another new card ever again. I would then push for a change to the established years that designate "vintage" to be pre-Panini crap.

As mainly a football guy, I pretty much stopped buying "new" cards in 2013/2014. Topps effed up the superfractors in 2015 chrome and the Pats haven't had many rookies to be excited about since 2013. Now that Panini has the exclusive, I don't see myself buying much, if anything, from "new" products.

At least there would be 50 years worth of stuff to buy.....that should keep you busy for a while.

Sounds like fun....I went to Milcom in Baltimore a few years ago....it was neat to see all the new stuff.

Let me fix that for you.

Topps started making cards under that brand name in 1952. The Topps MLB license runs out in 2020 which makes it 68 years.

I took a step aside from a vintage auction last night when I did another search on it and found a Buy It Now for cheaper.

Now if only this guy would buy my Roger Moore so I can go get it.

Well....you know what I mean. It'd be much better if Topps and Panini could make cards with logos.

The only cool cards Panini makes that I would love logos on is Prizm. The rest of their stuff is crap.

I think if my 1968 Topps 100 card lot from Dean's looks good, I might start picking up some of the vintage Yankees team sets from them.
