And it's fine if that's his personality, but then he should be a shooting guard and the Cavs should find a point guard to run the offense. I'm not blaming him as much as I'm blaming the system that is in place right now. The fact that when Lebron rests this team as a whole plays awful is alarming.

I was against front-loading this team from day 1. I wanted Wiggins and draft picks and for Lebron to truly be patient and grow this thing into what the Spurs have, where even after David Robinson retired they kept on going, and as Duncan aged they kept on going. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, I know...bottom line is the Cavs have lost two years in a row and something needs to change. This Big 3 mentality with a supporting cast who doesn't step up in crucial moments just isn't going to work.
I was really excited to see Bron go back to the Cavs with all that young talent. And then the Love trade happened and I rolled my eyes.

It could have been something very special and the Cavs would have exactly what the Spurs had with the transition of Robinson to Duncan.

That's about all you do on this site.

You still got LeBron 2 or 3 All time?

It seemed like he had plenty of chances to prove it in game 4 but just couldn't go.

So you think Lebron should take all the blame for the loss? Nice. I never gave Lebron all the credit for the Game 3 win as Kyrie was a huge factor and the entire Cavs team played great. Don't act like Lebron is a horrible person because he wants a good supporting cast MJ had a great slew of teammates that helped the GOAT (MJ) get to the finals. MJ never took all the blame for losses so why should Lebron?

Millennials.
I don't understand why older people do that. Call people millennials as if it's some kind of insult. As if being from the older generation makes you a better and more qualified person to do anything. Complain about Lebron all you want and the things he says but why personally an entire group of people because of one commenter on an Internet board. Can you just explain to me why people 30+ use this term as an insult?

Don't take a random comment on an Internet forum as some invitation for a diatribe on your victimization. I was mostly just Messing with fan cam.

In this specific instance though, being older qualifies me to understand basketball wasn't invented in 03-04 and that there have been a few players better than "the King"

A little defensive aren't we seeing as I said nothing about fault?

I think it was either jj2 or jcardstore that said LeBron was 2 or 3 all time. I was just wondering if that was still the case.

When there's people calling a guy the GOAT, you'd expect that guy to step up AT HOME in a MUST WIN game.

LeBron couldn't go, he struggled, although at least he managed some unimportant 2 pointers down the stretch.

The last section of your comment has nothing to do with anything so I won't even bother addressing it.

I don't think anyone who has played a single NBA game in the past 10 years will EVER be the GOAT.

God, you people and your retarded obsession with this nonsense.

Basketball fans are just the worst.

Thank God, for baseball, football, and hell even soccer!

At least I don't have to hear about goats and constant hatred of one dude in those sports...

I agree but......Football has some really obnoxious "Brady is GOAT and UGGS are awesome" people and a lot of others hate his ugg wearing ass.

I'd say LeBron and Brady fans are two of the worst in professional sports history. Nyfancam is a fan of both and we have all seen how that turns out.

LeBron will never be the GOAT, I can't even consider him a top 5 player at this point. He just doesnt have that killer instinct you expect from a great player. Is he a franchise changing player? Yes, but there's players like that all around the league. Sure the stats show he has amassed an amazing resume, but when it comes down to it he just doesn't perform in the clutch. He chokes on free throws and isn't willing to take the big shot.

For example in game 4 of this seres, the cave are down 8 with 1:30 to go and LeBron elects to dribble the ball for around 8-10 seconds and then drive to the basket for an easy 2. Obviously GS will accept the 2 when the intentional is likely coming to FT shooters who hit 88%+. I mean we're talking about a guy who in the beginning of his career in Cleveland was one of the most amazing players I've ever seen in playoff moments (especially against my pistons in that 05 maybe 06 series they had and he scored like every point for Cleveland in the OT). Something happened to him after going to Miami and he took to the back burner role. I honestly can say I don't think he believes in himself in clutch moments anymore. Kobe at this point is a greater player than LeBron is.

You don't have to hear about it now brother. The title explicitly states what is inside. Feel free not to click on it and go back to your thread bashing the pc police about why tweeters lose their job.

And c'mon, we all know arguments about any athletes/celebrities are inherently silly, regardless of the specific sport involved.

I have hear this line from Lebron multiple times during TO's on the sideline is:
"Follow MY Lead".............

Therefore, Lebron must be the leader in defeat.........

Actually good thing the Cavs aren't following his lead or they would have 30 turnovers instead of 11 in game 4...

This whole thread makes me chuckle.....

I don't get why ppl keep comparing this guy to the GOAT. He's a top 10 player all-time in my books, the later half probably 8-10 but man....why can't people also see how great this GSW team is!

I mean GSW is just straight chillin with curry having only 50 points in the first 3 games and they won 2 of them!

Which NBA Finals have you ever seen your primary scorer; an MVP in that, play so horrible and still beat teams. Ppl say OKC would have beaten Cavs, until KD can prove to me he can mentally beat Lebron, I'm not buying it. He's 3-13 LIFETIME vs LBJ.

This GSW team will be known if not the best team in history the 2nd BEST TEAM OF ALL-TIME.

The true product, they can win half their games without their STAR player in the PLAYOFFS.

I'd also like to point out that this isn't an excuse, LBJ is more Magic than Jordan and always has been. This discussion is happening because Kobe's retirement coupled with Steph Curry scoring points as easy as Jordan did. LBJ has lost his jumper, needs to improve his mid-range game the way D-Wade has this offseason. No MORE 3's LEBRON!

Even if the Warriors swept the Cavs in the finals, I think the only main group that would actually believe this is the younger generation.

Lol, dude, I ain't young.......I've seen every Jordan championship. Jordan went for 30 in more than 90% of Finals games and never saw a Game 7. Steph Curry doesn't have to "SAVE" his team, the Bulls needed many of Jordan's big game nights!

Defense was easier back then in reference to spacing not speaking about physicality. You have to play people from 30 feet up the court now, players are bigger, players are stronger, and most importantly.....players are WAY MORE ATHLETIC NOW!

Lebron's mid-range game has been trash since he came back to Cleveland. His mid-range game and Love's post game has been absolute trash and one of the things that could have turned the series around.

Nobody on the Warriors is a freak athlete. Iggy and Barnes are pretty good but not insane athletic. And you call them one of the best teams ever. So what does athleticism have to do with it. Also, they play small ball so what does bigger have to do with anything?

And the reason they can play small ball is because there are no great bigs. The league isn't bigger and stronger. That's a myth.

Lebron and Westbrook are bigger faster stronger than their peers of the past at the same position. The rest of the league... Not so much.
