Default Pistol Pete !

So my kids pitched in and bought me an early Father's day gift.

Pretty happy with this beauty.

Who knows, maybe I'll try for the set in this grade or higher!?

That looks great. Really sharp looking card. If you can cross to a PSA 7 you will greatly increase the value of the card. Centering jumps out as outstanding, top right corner might drop it to a PSA 6 though. Anyway beautiful card

Very nice card. Great eye appeal. Hard to find that card centered. Keep it in the BVG slab...it won't cross to a PSA 7.

I've seen several 7's that look worse than mine.

Here's one for example.

I agree with both sentiments on this. Great card, leave in slab. You should always just assume one grade lower when going from BVG to PSA/SGC. Your card looks like a 6 and wouldn't be surprised to see it as a 5.5. Great card though!! It is on my buy list.

It's your money, go ahead and try it. IMO, the example you posted from 707 has much better corners.

Hard to tell from the pic but both top corners look soft which would make it a 6 at best with a legitimate grading company that is not holding on to a dying magazine business model. That being said it is a great card that anyone would love to own. I have a PSA 6 Namath that looks very similar to your Maravich. Your centering is better but those top corners would keep it from being a 7 in my opinion, but it is definitely worth a shot, maybe you catch the grader on a good day

I'll take close ups of the corners in a bit.
