Default After watching this Cavs/Pistons series, I'm a Stanley Johnson fan

I love his agressiveness. He hustled and balls out and isn't afraid of guarding Lebron. I might start a PC of him

He acts like a 7 year old spoiled brat.

Lil homie looks like an odd future wannabe. Lebron couldn't be bothered to go off on him.

Couldn't agree more. Was thinking the same thing. Loved the way he played LeBron and how he didn't back down from anything. Kid has a very bright future.

After this I'm probably his least biggest fan. If you're down 2-0 and 3-0 in a series, you shouldn't be saying anything. I will say he played very aggressive against LeBron, but he didn't shut him down whatsoever, nor was he in his head.

I thought Stanley was just being a 19 year old kid that didn't want to back down from the challenge and act scared of Lebron. Treated him just like another guy and I loved it. Did exactly what Van Gundy asked of him this series and never really complained. He's still young and inexperienced, but I think he's got a bright future.

LeBron on the other hand....

I get what you're saying though. Really hoping the Cavs and Heat meet in the ECF and the Heat send LeBron home.

Exactly! If he was just another guy he would've kept his mouth shut, which he should have done anyway.

First of all, I think he was baited into that answer. Second of all, he did not treat Lebron like one of the greatest players on earth in the sense he wasn't scared of him like most 19-20 year olds would be. Third, he's a 19 year old kid. Of course he's going to say some things he probably shouldn't. I don't see anything wrong with anything he did.

Hes got a lot of potential but him trash talking Lebron mightve been the dumbest thing on the planet. I mean he said he was in Lebrons head? Come on dude, then got swept?

Its one thing to have balls, but dont come at the king AND dont come at the reigning East champs when you are the 8th seed.

Kid needs to learn

He's 19 and just needs to keep his mouth shut and let his game do the talking, which he didn't even do that.

Johnson will be lumped into the same category as Deshawn Stevenson and Lance Stephenson. A couple of wannabes who did their best to get into Lebrons head.....and got sent home. It doesn't matter that this latest guy did his best to ignore what Lebron has brought to the league, Lebron is a decorated champ, and a top player of all time....while these guys bask in their 10 minutes of sports section "fame"....Lebron goes down in the history books. These guys? Nothing....

It's like when Raja Bell did this against Kobe. As much as I disliked Kobe the player....it was an absolute joke looking back....nobody......NOBODY will remember Raja.....but Kobe? Dude just re-wrote the history books on how to end a career. Lastly....are you confused or just really need to update your signature?

Okay, I can agree with those comparisons from that standpoint. But Stanley is 19 YEARS OLD playing in his first playoff series in his first year. I can't wait to see what his game looks like 4, 5 years down the line. I'm not saying Wow, Stanley Johnson for Mvp after this series, I'm saying wow, I really liked what I saw on the court, both offensively and defensively, from a 19 year old rookie going against LeBron in his first ever playoff series. He will learn a lot from this experience and hopefully be smarter with his comments next time around, but I'm not going to hold some things he said after a loss, Lebron bumping into him, and celebrating in his face, over him yet.

Seems like all the LeBron fanboys have already attacked you. Kids gonna be good one day, and he'll win his first championship before LeBron ever wins with Cleveland.

LeBron isn't winning a championship in Cleveland with the supporting cast they are putting around him, they've committed too much to Love/Thompson and have strapped themselves to only be able to get vet min players.

hahahahaha well said my friend.

As for Johnson I think he's got a chance to be a really nice player. He reminds me alot of Jimmy Butler.

Just a 19 year old kid being immature, not very smart to call out one of the games greatest. He will learn from his mistake and be just fine

Considering Lebron is player, coach, and GM... He has nobody to blame but himself.

So says the bitter guy whose team just got swept in two sports by the city of Cleveland this weekend. Oh, and the Cavs are on a 12 game win streak against the Pistons in the playoffs. You might want to take your bitter ace to retirement w/your boy Calvin. Enjoy your miserable Monday.
